botverse··on Claude Code Remote Control
I ended doing a similar thing, but each tg bot can choose what repo/session to attend to.

https://github.com/botverse/tgcc

I found that cc is all you need indeed

botverse··on Claude Code Remote Control
On top of that is something they should have had from earlier times. My biggest pain point is to not to be able to continue from my phone. I just use a service to pipe telegram to any cc session in the dev machine. This is the number 1 reason why I got excited by openclaw in the first place but its overkill to have it just to control cc
botverse··on Claude Code On-the-Go
Same here, I’m vibecoding a toy project where I never looked at the code from my phone, but I always seat for work. I’m using happy app and that’s good enough for now, I have the desktop in tailscale but I access it that way just for testing
botverse··on Scripts I wrote that I use all the time
I did something similar with copy until I found this which works across remote terminals too:

`alias clip="base64 | xargs -0 printf '\e]52;c;%s\007'"`

It just sends it to the client’s terminal clipboard.

`cat thing.txt | clip`

botverse··on If the moon were only 1 pixel: A tediously accurate solar system model (2014)
I’ve been thinking about how to teach the size and proportions of the solar system to my kids, I’ve bought a couple of packs of blank RFID cards on which I intend to paint the planets over a starred background. And then walk with my kids the meters necessary to cover the distances before displaying them. What I don’t know is if there is a clever way to use the RFID tech, this website kinda offers an idea.
botverse··on The Gentle Singularity
I can’t seem to reconcile this with the fact that there has not been a significant improvement of the transformers since 8 years ago. None of the AGI components, in addition to those that emerged with hyper scale, have been achieved. Where is the superintelligence going to come from?
botverse··on Ask HN: Recommendation for a SWE looking to get up to speed with latest on AI
I have stopped following Matt Berman, his enthusiasm and love for OpenAI has unfortunately made him lose all semblance of critical thinking when it comes to this company, so his videos are too aligned with OpenAI marketing...

botverse··on Asking for the special tokens crashes ChatGPT
Try it for yourself, it enters in a loop, so it probably detects the abrupt termination and tries to start again, not sure how to call that behaviour, but crashing is not too incorrect in that case
botverse··on Asking for the special tokens crashes ChatGPT
This is most likely because ChatGPT returning the actual token corresponding to `<|endoftext|>` instead of returning the text representation of it
botverse··on ICJ orders Israel to prevent genocide in Gaza, stops short of ordering ceasefire
The technicality I see here is that the ICJ can call a ceasefire in an armed conflict, this would carry the implicit message that the civilian casualties are collateral damage. Instead they are asking to stop the genocidal acts. In a genocide the civilians are the target. It’s bad for the Palestinians in the short term, and bad for Israel in the long
botverse··on Instagram apologizes for inserting 'terrorist' into Palestinian bio translations
> This is the sort of thing that could cause people to lose friends or jobs.

Not if in the receiving end there is a Palestinian, unfortunately people are not made equal

Edit: I misunderstood that the person potentially loosing their job is the one that made the mistake.

Many maybe don’t, but also many of the techie types I know tinker with mechanical watches, bicycles, combustion engines, etc. And I think more than the average!
botverse··on Apple Vision Pro: Apple’s first spatial computer
It’s sad that they had to partner with Unity instead of EPIC… So no Unreal engine for this because of the store dispute, great loss for both parties
botverse··on Tina Turner has died
She was a great performer. Just pure raw power that you could feel even when she would do a slight head twist. She was simply the best.
botverse··on Shrinkflation, SanDisk Style
It’s like the probably fake story of the MBA that removed an olive from the salads in the airline. They way they should finish by the story is with another MBA removing the rest of the olives, then another the space between seats, then another started to charge per bag…

They just can’t see it.

botverse··on John Carmack goes off about online-only games being abandoned
> Or he should start a new game company that holds to these values. He'll either find himself agreeing with the business people or broke.

botverse··on Some insects I found inside dried Turkish figs from Trader Joe’s
One thing people don’t always know is that all figs have _at least_ one dead wasp inside. That’s how they get pollinated.

I don’t know about the cheese but I disagree with you about the wine. For example Californian wine is excellent, and you get a much higher quality for the money than with French wine for anything below $150. French wine is in much higher demand so all the lowest quality is sold too, instead of being made vinegar or discarded, becoming the entry level. French wine is subjected to strict rules that don’t allow them correct them like the Californian do, like adding a bit of water here or there… etc. In places where you have to import both the quality difference for the money is evident, within the us is abysmal
botverse··on Sesame allergen labeling law has unintended effect: sesame in more foods
> How did we end up in a place where one simple food 'may contain' one million ingriedients where its being made in a giant factory, not a kitchen.

I think we got here this way:

one billion for the first time in 1804;

two billion in 1927, 123 years later;

three billion in 1960, 33 years later;

four billion in 1974, 14 years later;

five billion in 1987, 13 years later;

six billion in 1999, 12 years later;

seven billion in 2011, 12 years later;

eight billion in 2022, 11 years later;

Note that the last six billion happened so fast that probably during your mom’s lifetime

Being a lawmaker in the current capitalist society doesn’t make you the ruler (see lobbying). I’d say the few that rule are those with large amount of capital and influence, so oligarch is well applied here

Edit: also one of the perks for rulers on the worse regimes (authoritarian regimes, monarchies) is that law is not the same for the few that tule than for the rest, law is definitely not the same from the point of view of this wealth maxers

I’d say citation is not needed when the person has experience in the field, can cite himself telling you their opinion and that will suffice. Your opinion may differ of course
botverse··on Growing a mango tree from seed – one year time lapse [video]
I did once a website for the side project of a guy whose main business was making and licensing “maturation chambers” [1], basically containers where to put the unripe fruit with light and 90% humidity for shipping. Tomatoes go in smaller and green, but arrive bigger and red. If you factor in shipping, it makes sense to think that all the fruit would rot on arrival if you let it mature on the tree.
