bradpineau··on The Mile Wide Web
This is a very cool concept. I'm looking forward to it taking shape!
bradpineau··on Going to syndicate winners of Launch Hackathon to my AngelList syndicate
This is unreal. With syndicates, you can pretty much close a Series A round of investing in one shot. Looking forward to seeing how this changes the game.
bradpineau··on Drawingboard.js + GoInstant = Collaborative Canvas
Cool!
bradpineau··on WatchTower - a non-profit web app
Thanks Scott!
bradpineau··on Ask HN: This is our YC W2014 application. Can you give me feedback?
Great overall concept. I think it's something my company could use.

One concern I'd have if using this product, is that often the customer says what they think they want, but don't actually need. So I'd expect there to be some decent "management" tools for working through all the feedback. Maybe some sort of internal scoring or feedback system within the company or something.

bradpineau··on GoDaddy's Homepage Media is Ass-Kicking Good ;)
This is amazing. Well done, GoDaddy. :)
bradpineau··on Show HN: GoInstant - A full dev stack for building real-time collaborative apps
What technologies are you using on the backend?
bradpineau··on Show HN: Node.js Hosting Platform with Integrated MongoDB
Great idea. Will check it out.
bradpineau··on Ask HN: What is the best way to monetize Picisto.com?
30% of the traffic is returning users.
bradpineau··on Winamp's woes: how the greatest MP3 player undid itself
Winamp... now THAT reminds me of the 1990s.
bradpineau··on Don’t register your idea as a company
“Don’t incorporate a hobby. Incorporate when you are serious about making your startup a business.”
bradpineau··on Why Your Links Should Never Say “Click Here”
I die a little inside when I see a "click here" link.
bradpineau··on Rare video of Woz from 1984 talking about computing, joining Apple and the Mac
Wow that sure does look like 1984.
bradpineau··on Tablets And Smartphones Before And After The iPhone And iPad
Yeah but Microsoft and others tried for YEARS to make tablets work, no dice. Apple succedded on their first attempt. That does say something.
bradpineau··on Tablets And Smartphones Before And After The iPhone And iPad
Not suprising how Apple inspired everyone else.
bradpineau··on Top 20 Sites like Fiverr
Is it just me, or do a few of these sites look like the same backend? Example, fiverr and gigbucks.
bradpineau··on Get an email address for your phone
This is true. Only most people aren't aware, and if they are, it's very hard to remember the format.

Also, MailBliss allows you to create "anonymous" emails - so you don't have to give away your cell phone number.

bradpineau··on CodeLesson Challenges University Model
This type of informal education seems to be the rage these days. I'd be interested to see a study or numbers comparing the careers of those who attended university/college vs this type of "online education".

Although I suppose those who use these sites are already the type of are willing to put in that exact effort, so that could skew the results.

All domains you see in the game are available for registration. If you see something you like, go register it!
bradpineau··on [video] JavaScript for beginners
Nice collection of videos. I only watched the intro of a few of them, but they seem well organized.

I found a bit of background noise in the audio -- you might want to look into getting a better mic.

bradpineau··on Movie Quotes Applied to Software Development | JavaWorld's Daily Brew
This list was pretty good, except that I actually had to read each snippet to see what movie the quote came from. I was hoping to see more obvious quotes like "I'm the king of the world!" (Which is what I say everytime an algorithm comes together) =)
bradpineau··on ICANN Approves generic top-level domains
Agreed -- if anything, it will just make .com domains even more valuable. The average Internet user won't understand these new TLDs.
bradpineau··on Depixelizing Pixel Art
Love it.
bradpineau··on Not doing Code Reviews? What’s your excuse?
Nice article.
bradpineau··on TUTORIAL: Find the Perfect Domain Name for Your Business
Awesome interview - gives a good demonstration of how all the DomainHole tools work.
bradpineau··on DomainHole launches two new tools to help you find great domains
I can officially state here that we do NOT store the domains entered into the Bulk Domain Check tool. If it would help ease users' minds... we can work on adding something to this effect to the End User License Agreement.
bradpineau··on DomainHole launches two new tools to help you find great domains
Also note that a video walkthrough of how to use the DomainHole tools will be posted at DomainSherpa.com this week - look for that.
bradpineau··on Poll: Is linkedin only for consultants and the unemployed?
No, and I think it can be useful for a lot of professions.
bradpineau··on We have seen this movie before
Good stuff. Agree as well.
