bramk··on I just launched a quick and simple framework to name your next startup
I was introduced to a quick and simple naming framework a few years ago and decided to create a short guide to help anyone come up with a name for their next project, startup, or business.

I launched a free version of it almost 2 years ago and recently saw that it was used by over 2500 people! That inspired me to update the naming framework and create a paid (just $9) version of it. Made without code (Can I say that here? ;) ) using Carrd.co and Gumroad for payment and delivery. There is a preview of the document you buy on the website.

It is a 6-step naming framework that will help you come up with a name in about 60 minutes.

In includes a worksheet (in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets format) that you can use to document each step

I am currently working on a Web3 startup but thought this could be a way to have some extra income as we are bootstrapping.

What do you think?

bramk··on Modern Day Jobs, a curated list of 100 modern ways to make money online
thanks! (not sure if I can say this here but it's all made without code ;) haha)
bramk··on Modern Day Jobs, a curated list of 100 modern ways to make money online
This week, entrepreneur Alex Taub shared a similar list on Twitter (https://twitter.com/ajt/status/1...) replying to tweets from people who were wondering if there were any overviews of ways people who are affected by layoffs caused by Covid-19, could find new ways / jobs / gigs to make money and pay their bills.

He asked if there were any people who'd like to take over his idea and build a searchable database for it. My friend Elaine Zelby (from SF) and I (from Amsterdam) jumped on it and worked together for the past 2 days to launch this product today

We both got interested because the majority of people now getting laid off are not the skilled knowledge or tech workers. There are dozens of places where they could make money through the internet and we would love to help them!

We hope you like it and spread the word to anyone you think it’s valuable for

Stay strong! ️

bramk··on Knowing how to code is a trap
I revived my blog with the goal to write more in 2020 and share unfiltered thoughts and findings on startups and business.

Here's my first article that I've been wanting to write for a while. What do you think?

bramk··on Show HN: Road to Scale – 300+ content items for every stage of your startup
What's up HN! Today I'm launching a fun project that I've built without code (sorry!). Using Carrd, Zapier, Airtable, Google Sheets & Gmail.

Nowadays there’s a lot of startup related content around the web. But it’s difficult to navigate what to read, watch or listen to. Because in every stage of your startup journey there is different kinds of relevant content you can consume and draw inspiration from.

That’s a problem I’ve been wanting to solve :)

So today I’m launching Road to Scale

It’s a curated knowledge library with 300+ content items for every stage of your startup journey. So whether you're just starting out with your idea or scaling like crazy, Road to scale has got your back with insightful, practical and useful knowledge you can apply to your startup.

I hope you like it, thanks for checking it out

bramk··on Recreating the famous Buffer MVP website without code (using Carrd.co)
I've been a huuuuge fan of @ajlkn's Carrd ever since I discovered it on Product Hunt, and over the years I've been using it to build a lot of websites without code.

Now it's one of the main tools in my upcoming course No-Code MVP, and after creating it's tutorial video for the course I decided to share it! I hope you like it :)

bramk··on A curated directory of resources and tools to help you build your startup
thanks!
bramk··on A curated directory of resources and tools to help you build your startup
I did not get 11K upvotes on the first day. This is from 2,5 years. After my launch day I was the #2 most upvoted product, 1 week later it was the #1 most upvoted product. I think on the first day it got 1500 upvotes. Check https://medium.com/startup-grind/how-i-launched-the-2-most-u... to read how I launched it.

What's up HackerNews! I'm surprised to see my creation Startup Stash pop up here, after launching it early 2015. I think I tried to post this here before? (back then)

Those of you who don't know, Startup Stash is the most upvoted product of all time on Product Hunt with 11K+ upvotes (https://www.producthunt.com/search?q=%2A), if you want to know more check out this blogpost I wrote after launching it: https://medium.com/startup-grind/how-i-launched-the-2-most-u...

Right now I'm working on something new: a course to teach anyone how to build a Minimum Viable Product without code: https://nocodemvp.com.

bramk··on Show HN: Startup Stash – Curated directory of 400 resources and tools for startups
Startup Stash is a curated directory of resources and tools to help you build your startup. It includes 400 products in 40 categories, like for example: Idea Generation, Early users, Marketing, Raising Capital and Customer support. Each category consists of 10 handpicked resources and tools, all with their own detail page that displays some info about the product.

I thought it would be fun to build a simple and useful site that can help you find resources and tools while building your startup. Hopefully Startup Stash will become the first thing you look at when you need a certain tool, just like an oldskool startpage! :)

Would love to hear your thoughts!
