I agree. It is much more likely that this for QoL project not implemented. Imagine the TV being smart enough to skip to before the baby interrupted.

The post office _wants_ some spam ads in the mail. They get paid less but everyone gets it. At this time without mail ads there would not be enough mail most days to send a postal carrier out. Think of it as the fiber in your diet. You don't get anything nutritional out of it but it helps move things along.

Even if everything in the article is true you should not use AI to write this. A analogy would be tobacco company report on how smoking isn’t so bad for you.

It is called the Greater Fool theory. I know that it is a foolish purchase, it true value is less than what I paid for. But there is a greater fool out there that will pay more.

A hundred years ago he would be at church praying to god for a cure every day. He has replaced that with AI, the effect is the same. Looking for a solution/cure for when medicine has failed.

Yeah, the label says half milk half cream.

I don’t buy half and half cream very often. I did not know that for a basic product they were selling items that aren’t just milk and cream. Ignorance on my part? Sure, but there is over a hundred different things I buy. It would be doing a audit everytime I go shopping.

Traveling through time at a rate of 1sec per second.

Same article says he well paid. I’ll grant you that alot of teachers are paid little but there is nothing about money being in the discussion.

Are they overworked? In the article he states he is coaching and run three preps in addition to teaching. Less can be more.

I always thought this is the end game, my ai agent talking to their ai agent. No human paying attention to the conversation at all

He started out to find ways to lower his tax burden. Found something with solar infrastructure in a different state. Went ahead with it in spite of having no experience with the local laws or infrastructure projects and wondered why it failed?

Don't forget in the middle he states that this is a tax dodge on capital gains from said crypto money.

In a lot of cities the broadcast towers are concentrated in the same place, I wonder how effective it could be.

I hate when they promote the use of low-flow toilets which save 1-2 gallons when compared to irrigation of farm land measured in acre-inches of water. A acre-inch of water is 27,000 gallons. Corn needs 12 acre-inches to grow to maturity, or over 325,000 per acre.

And they only named it that due to the fact they could not trademark a number, like 386.

Agree. If one device was booby-trapped the first thing I would be doing is disassembling all my others devices for the same.

I loved this cameo Bob did on the last episode of the Late Late Show. https://youtu.be/Bknt00olZ0Q?t=2178

Untrusted by Google is what most laypeople will get out of it.

Sounds like a opportunity to create a LLM to interact with their LLM.

You can change the resolution in System Settings->Displays, make it so the entire display is below the notch.

Alot of cars do have a governor limiting the top speed, 115 and 155 are common. This is mostly because you need to look at every part of the car to know that is could go that fast. Car manufacturers limit it so the tires won't blow out for example.

But why are you working on a project? If it isn't for the money then you are doing it to 'give back to the community'. But if they are turning hostile to you then why continue?

The current CAFE calculations include the FOOTPRINT of the vehicle, giving bigger vehicles lower mpg rates to pass regulations. It makes a strong incentive to keep trucks big, as more efficient engines are hard to make.

Truly the calculation is quite odd, the formula includes the Natural Log to the power of the footprint of the vehicle.

When I first heard the term 'fiat money system' I thought it was talking about bitcoin. The value exists because some crypto guy says it exists. That is the very definition of fiat.

After when I was corrected that they were talking about real currency my first thought was oh, this is a grift. Only scammers try to reverse the meaning of words like this.
