brunt··on Veloren is a multiplayer voxel RPG written in Rust
A previous HN post with some comments from core developers: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26037461
brunt··on TheirTube – How do the recommended videos look on their Youtube home page?
I didn't know either but I like the 3-hour relaxing music video that was recommended to them. After a few minutes of that I thought, "How bad could they be?"
brunt··on Show HN: Kong – Physical Cryptocurrency
I'm assuming this is unrelated to the Kong API Gateway https://konghq.com/kong/
brunt··on Async-await on stable Rust
Looks like someone needs to update https://areweasyncyet.rs/
brunt··on Ask HN: What do you do with your Raspberry Pi?
1. Telegram chat bot from this rust crate: https://crates.io/crates/telegram-bot 2. Some web microservices that the chatbot communicates with 3. Pi hole adblocking.

This is all on one 3b+ with plenty of resources to spare.

brunt··on Glow: Better Reversible Generative Models
Manipulating Neil deGrasse Tyson's face in the demo yields some hilariously bad-looking results.
brunt··on iPhone 8
>All battery claims depend on network configuration and many other factors; actual results will vary.

brunt··on How do people in different countries spend their time?
What exactly is "Other", and why does Germany do it so much more than other countries?
brunt··on Our new website Animation
It goes horribly wrong in Opera. Clicking for the next happy thought reveals a huge block of raw HTML, and God help you if you click more than twice.
brunt··on What a programmer does for a living
This article just now taught me how to make coffee.
brunt··on Ramen May Lead to Chronic Illness Study Says
Ramen Noodles (when eaten all the time instead of a variety of fruits and vegetables) may lead to chronic illness.

The title is slightly misleading in that regard. It should be common knowledge now that too much of any one thing will kill you.

brunt··on The race to buy up the world's water
I prefer to read about it from Maddox.

brunt··on [Firefox] Jägermonkey: it’s in ur browser
It's ahead in the Peacekeeper benchmark, but falls just short on the Sunspider and JS tests.

brunt··on Chrome 6: Early peek under the hood
http://img.deepgamers.com/1278097072.png A friend of mine has benchmarked the beta of Chrome along with several other browsers on his own PC. It's pretty impressive except for that weird box that gets cut out from the acid3 test.
