Huh, gonna have to bookmark their site for... reasons.

They are right on one account - Bigger companies need to have their hardware protected from such electrical surges. Seen a lot of companies' data be ruined by a random thunder strike and such.

Had they been better protected, they might not have had to work countless hours to get such data back.

And here I am, dropped my Chinese brand phone over a dozen times with only a few scratches as punishment.

And hey, it still works as it did on day one. Not saying IPhone or Samsung are a bad brand by no means, hell... I'd probably own one if I had the money to buy it... but still.

This is some really uplifting news. Always glad to see money being tossed at education like this. ( Not being sarcastic. )

This is hardly new stuff, but it was a good article nonetheless.

Seen similar things with sales on old-ish products happen in stores where I live. "30% Sales on all our ( insert brand here ) products for a limited time!!!" And then they just blatantly and shamelessly leave those prices as they are even after the "sale" ends.

Not sure why such advertisement is allowed and why people aren't more outraged, but eh.

I mean, sure... there might be a couple of these left in the world because ( I believe ) that no one can be absolutely certain there aren't... but that picture/video is an insult to human intelligence.

Come on... we're past those crappy photos of the Loch Ness monster, Big Foot, etc. Like Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki commented - "It's remarkable that it is out of focus in a time that we have autofocus cameras."
