Paxil also had that problem; it made me suicidal, and I had to go into a mental hospital and get my medication changed.

Buy a used fridge, and pay Sears or someone money to fix it up. I heard Smart Fridges have an ice cube subscription for $15 a month after a year's demo expires; pay it or no more ice cubes.

That is over $2000 a year; you might as well finance a Macbook Pro on a credit card and pay it off to do your Claude Code or Codex programming.

The main problem is a lack of revenue; most AI Data Centers have a negative ROI. This is like the dot-coms in 1999-2002. They couldn't generate income, and their loans were due.

https://octave.org/ Try GNU Octave; it is a free software alternative to MATLAB.

A competent software developer demands a higher salary than an incompetent one. So when I apply for a software developer job, I get told I am overqualified. I don't work for peanuts like an incompetent developer.

Don't forget GNU; RMS would be upset if we didn't. https://www.gnu.org/software/software.html GNU/Linux

We were latchkey kids. The key to the house door was tied around our neck using a shoelace. When the street lights came on, it meant going home. Both parents worked to afford the house and the kids' expenses.

I have old Kindles that Amazon disabled from downloading new books. They are trying to force me to buy new Kindles, but I just use the Kindle reader app for my PC. Anyone can recommend an alternative to Kindle. Please let me know.

This is why I use LibreOffice instead of Microsoft365.

Did they have a working business plan?

Interesting. Can revive DOS games in DOS to Rust to make them cross-platform. I imagine most DOS games are no longer sold or supported, or IP sitting on an underwriter's file cabinet?

What is the ROI in Data Centers? Google has an advantage in making its own chips and hardware, as it is 1/3rd the cost of others. Microsoft has $0 ROI on its data centers.

Memory and Chip prices went up, and Microsoft is building Data Centers. Copilot 365 only has 3% of users using the AI features. Microsoft's biggest AI customer, OpenAI is looking to use other Data Centers. Microsoft's stock took a 10% hit and lost $400B USD. Microsoft's Data Centers have high electricity bills and thus have a 0 ROI. If Microsoft doesn't get customers for its AI Data Centers, they stand to lose more than $400B USD. Investors want to see profits, not broken promises of profits.

Microsoft deactivates pirated versions of Office and tells you to buy a copy.

It also supports WordPerfect formats, Which MS Office dropped. My wife was in a group email editing documents and someone emailed their edits using WordPerfect format. I loaded it in LibreOffice and exported it in DOCX format and it worked.

Maybe they have in the web archive some webpages that were saved that they don't like?

I remember when IBM had Intel license the 8088/8086 to AMD in case Intel could not keep up with the demand for the IBM PC.

I remember using Double Space to compress a 1.44M floppy to run Windows 3.1 on it. I forgot how I did it, nice to see this website document it.

Companies still use Windows 3.X because of old software written for it that they don't have the source code for it anymore.

Apparently certain moderators get DSP access to the Reddit stock before the IPO.

They use FreeBSD and Darwin open-source code. Darwin is the core of MacOS with the XNU/MACH Kernel. So they are doing nothing wrong that Apple can sue them over it. The trick is writing the code that does what the Non-Open-Source code of MacOS does to run the Mac Apps.

It is still in pre-release and being worked out. It doesn't run in VirtualBox or VMWare because there is no driver for video on it for the virtual machines.

MacOS App support isn't there yet. It supports only a few apps. Test out a copy and give them feedback please, thank you.

Humanity doesn't always think and act logically and reasonably. Look at the wars on Earth right now. Look at the migrants and homeless people.

COVID-19 killed a lot of careers and businesses. The rise in gas and diesel increases the costs of shipping which is passed on to the customers.

Going green will destroy our economy because there is no infrastructure to replace fossil fuels yet.

Inflation and cost of living index. The economy is in a recession.

Get this: https://davidgriffith.gitlab.io/frotz/ and use the datafiles from the DOS version in DOSBox.
