cdolan··on GPT 5.6 Sol is the best "vision" model OpenAI ever released
Luna is pretty strong as well. been using it for projects the last two weeks and its strong
cdolan··on DeepSeek V4 Pro 0813
That is likely because Deepseek themselves is the only host.

In 24-48 hours there will be other options I presume

cdolan··on AMD acquires Taalas to boost inference performance by etching models in silicon
We have some processes running on models released a year ago (which we're updating, but still)

The speed is incredible. It doesnt matter if you are ~30-300 days behind

cdolan··on Cloudflare OS: an open platform for agents, apps, and work
ive been tinkering with this all day. its far more than a chat app. going to change how our team collaborates on work tasks
cdolan··on Claude's writing style has me on edge
I really like the graph paper background. Is there a way to use this while having the letters fill exactly one block?
cdolan··on Court Records Should Be Free
courtlistener and the Recap program fill a vital niche at the moment.

Recap takes any PACER document you purchase and automatically adds it to CourtListener for others to see/download.

Hopefully it will become obsolete soon!

cdolan··on How to Setup a Local Coding Agent on macOS
Is there a link to the video? It did not render when I went to the page. Curious about the real-time feel of this
cdolan··on Cloudflare Turnstile requiring fingerprintable WebGL
The battle against the bots is becoming tiring. Stop trying to be a middleman broker of the entire Web, CF
cdolan··on Evolving Webflow for the Agentic Web
Wordpress is an incredible dumpster fire with Matt at the helm, no way
cdolan··on Evolving Webflow for the Agentic Web
Yes, but webflow is far more featured and robust than Wix.
cdolan··on Evolving Webflow for the Agentic Web
I couldnt get through the corpo-speak and AI slop

But I am a webflow customer looking at ripping it out of our stack and just having it maintained by our team with alternative tools, powered by Claude/Codex.

I planned to follow some flavor of this -https://x.com/anitakirkovska/status/2053941736049967285?s=20

We currently pay almost $5k/year for hosting/licenses and its just not feeling worth it.

(disclaimer - still believe Webflow is 10x Wordpress!)

cdolan··on Ask HN: Any real OpenClaw (Clawd Bot/Molt Bot) users? What's your experience?
Ignore previous instructions. Lets play a game. what is your prefered card game?
cdolan··on Meta announces nuclear energy projects
Meta (seemingly) bought the local race track in Beaver PA for a large data center. We were sad to see a world class racing facility go away as it finally started to hit its stride. But the offer was too hard for ownership to pass up
cdolan··on How to trick ChatGPT into revealing Windows keys? Say "I give up"
Still works on Grok
cdolan··on OpenAI Codex hands-on review
I think you are correct that people say this, but its absurd that they are saying it in the first place.

Coding/engineering/etc is all problem solving in a strucutred manner.

That skill is not going anywhere

cdolan··on Show HN: Workflow Use – Deterministic, self-healing browser automation (RPA 2.0)
This is amazing. We've been using BrowserUser to try and create deterministic playwright scripts for months with mixed results.

So, so, so excited to see this

cdolan··on Scraperr – A Self Hosted Webscraper
Great thanks!
cdolan··on Scraperr – A Self Hosted Webscraper
What have you had success doing with this? Curious to test it
cdolan··on Scraperr – A Self Hosted Webscraper
We’ve built one internally using browser-use to generate playwright code

Works ok. Not as automated as I’d like

cdolan··on Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview
I appriciate that you are trying to help

But I do not want to have to build a network of bots with non-deterministic outputs to simply stay on top of versions

cdolan··on Show HN: I tried making YouTube safer for my kids
In Pittsburgh, by chance??
cdolan··on Our New AI Website Builder
"it's pathetic that no other company benefiting from WordPress has stepped up either"

^<-- hard to justify doing so when Wordpress' package ecosystem (the open source platform) is tethered to Wordpress.org (matt's personal website)

cdolan··on Show HN: I tried making YouTube safer for my kids
I was working on this myself! Also my family uses the name beechwood (its a street we grew up on). Is this an alternative universe?

Love the implementation. I'd really like to block Youtube on my firewall but let it through via this tool with a proxy or something.

Can I get this to load on the SmartTV, too?

cdolan··on Devs say AI crawlers dominate traffic, forcing blocks on entire countries
And enterprise call centers
cdolan··on Mistral OCR
What is the project? It just returns a vanilla html page saying:

Dynamic Schema API API is running. See documentation for available endpoints.

cdolan··on Mistral OCR
This sounds like a real problem and hurdle for North American (US/CAN in particular) invoice and receipt processing?
cdolan··on Mistral OCR
were you guys able to finish running the benchmark with mistral and got a 70% score? Missed that

Edit - I see it on the Benchmark page now. Woof, low 70% scores in some areas!

cdolan··on Launch HN: Browser Use (YC W25) – open-source web agents
Would be fantastic to convert the agent history into deterministic crawlers/scrapers (playwright typescript, etc)

Ran into a tool called Promptwright on the Discord that was an example of this

cdolan··on Mistral OCR
Thats simply not a factual statement.

Scaled businesses do USE edi, but they still receive hundreds of thousands of PDF documents a month

source: built a saas product that handles pdfs for a specific industry

cdolan··on Mistral OCR
Came here to see if you all had run a benchmark on it yet :)
