coolspot··on Was GLM-5.2 trained on Opus 4.5 outputs?
Here is the harness - https://github.com/litemars/LLM-Fingerprinter .

Classifier is an ensemble of Random Forest (45%) + SVM (45%) + MLP (10%).

Code is very easy to run using your own OpenRouter key, here is a training gist - https://gist.github.com/CoolSpot/bcd4545daf763d9196dea3bb0b5... .

coolspot··on GLM-5.2: Frontier Intelligence, Open Weights
Looks like their code subscription is sold out. Clicking on the "Subscribe" button just does nothing. Pay-as-you-go API works well.
coolspot··on Tesla kills Autopilot, locks lane-keeping behind $99/month fee
$99/mo is for FSD, not just lane keeping.

The article doesn’t explain what happens to simple lane leeping. Surely it should be free like in any other car (like my Volvo).

coolspot··on Roam 50GB is now Roam 100GB
I don’t think it was ever available upon sign up. I got it offered when I tried to cancel my 50/mo plan.
coolspot··on Danish pension fund divesting US Treasuries
> China cares more about Europe than Russia. Because that's where the real money is.

“Real money” aka resources are very obviously in Russia, not Europe.

coolspot··on Roam 50GB is now Roam 100GB
There is a ”secret” $10/month 10GB roam plan.
coolspot··on OpenRouter Broadcast
The founder named it OpenRouter because his previous startup was OpenSea.

Some founders choose a prefix, then tend to use it everywhere :)

coolspot··on Apple Releases Open Weights Video Model
> STARFlow-V is trained on 96 H100 GPUs using approximately 20 million videos.

They don’t say for how long.

coolspot··on Exploring PostgreSQL 18's new UUIDv7 support
But what if we just use milliseconds as our bigserial? And maybe add some hw-random number at the end to avoid conflicts? Wait
coolspot··on Exploring PostgreSQL 18's new UUIDv7 support
“client” here may refer to a backend app server. So you can have 10-100s of backend servers inserting into a same table without having a single authority coordinating IDs.
coolspot··on M5 MacBook Pro

coolspot··on Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2025

coolspot··on Interstellar Object 3I/Atlas Passed Mars Last Night
2I/Borisov was not discovered by Zwicky Transient Facility .

The comet was discovered on 30 August 2019 by amateur astronomer Gennadiy Borisov at his personal observatory MARGO in Nauchnij, Crimea, using a 0.65 meter telescope he designed and built himself.

They are former Docker employees running Docker playbook.
coolspot··on Electron-based apps cause system-wide lag on macOS 26 Tahoe
It’s just getting worse with each new iOS release. For example before iOS 18, screen time requests from kids would come as notifications, now they are coming in as iMessages, polluting history of your actual conversations, so you can’t have functional group chat with your kid & parents.

Now in iOS 26 they messed up calculation of how much screen time is spent, so an app can have limit of 3hrs/day and still lock up after just first 9 minutes of screen time spent in that app in a day.

It seems like they have zero QA.

coolspot··on Electron-based apps cause system-wide lag on macOS 26 Tahoe
Yeah, screen time for kids is absolutely broken in iOS 26.
coolspot··on Meta Ray-Ban Display
Same.
coolspot··on TernFS – An exabyte scale, multi-region distributed filesystem
Licensing

TernFS is Free Software. The default license for TernFS is GPL-2.0-or-later.

The protocol definitions (go/msgs/), protocol generator (go/bincodegen/) and client library (go/client/, go/core/) are licensed under Apache-2.0 with the LLVM-exception. This license combination is both permissive (similar to MIT or BSD licenses) as well as compatible with all GPL licenses. We have done this to allow people to build their own proprietary client libraries while ensuring we can also freely incorporate them into the GPL v2 licensed Linux kernel.

Good name for an AI agent orchestration framework.

coolspot··on Qwen3-Next
Yes, but you don’t know which 3B parameters you will need, so you have to keep all 80B in your VRAM, or wait until correct 3B are loaded from NVMe->RAM->VRAM. And of course it could be different 3B for each next token.
coolspot··on Google to obey South Korean order to blur satellite images on maps
He and his family are under Secret Service protection for life, so they are not like commoners already, so it makes sense that their houses have special treatment.

On the other hand a motivated party can easily get a satellite view from Apple Maps / Google Earth or even build a 3D map using a drone (it is not a no-fly zone). So it doesn’t really contribute to VIP’s security.

coolspot··on iPhone Air
Backing up your 1TB phone without taking whole house wi-fi bandwidth for 12 hours is one.
coolspot··on Google to obey South Korean order to blur satellite images on maps
I guess there is less post-processing of images in Google Earth, because it is more professional-oriented product.

E.g. the same place in 2020,2021 is covered with a cloud, which never happens in a consumer-oriented maps.

Likewise, Obama’s new house in Hawaii is shown as empty lot: https://maps.app.goo.gl/pKKkR17trBiz7b9w6?g_st=ipc

It was built more than three years ago.

Looks the same on Google and Bing. You can see it on Apple Maps though: https://maps.apple.com/place?coordinate=21.324794,-157.67986...
