A plausible explanation.
I just went to a MLB game yesterday, and the digital process was:
- Open ticket app
- scan ticket 1
- scan ticket 2
I imagine this could have been: - Open ticket app
- scan PDF417
- scan ticket 1
- scan ticket 2Now, with a heat pump, the wife and kids can set the thermostat for their comfort and I am less anxious about the monthly bill. The freedom was worth it, for us.

I would truly like to step away and relax. But the last time I tried to step away, I couldn't stop ruminating over all the unfinished work in my queue. My hunch is that it's not possible to truly relax unless someone else can temporarily step-in for the vacationer. Otherwise, on return, we're just greeted with an even-larger pile of work.
One suggestion: Add iconography to indicate cooking apparatus. The gestalt of your nested layout gave me a quick sense of the prep and cooking phases, but it would be nice to see if I need to preheat the oven or pull out the backyard grill.
With such fast movements in close quarters, I would love to see a global shutter.
