Do you mean https://wiki2map.org/? Or is that something different?

I'm sure some mischievous scamp is working on a way to automatically troll people using that.

The title definitely should be prefixed Show HN.

Nope. Using LibreWolf.

As another poster pointed out, maybe you should contact the people at Kagi about this.

Haven't seen that behavior. Just clicked a link to a reddit post and loaded the article, comments included.

Are you sure this is a Kagi thing? Maybe it's a reddit or browser thing. Or some weird combo of all of that.

What do you mean by this, exactly? The title is unclear.

Unless the people behind Gnudb are active here (and actually have read this post), I'm not sure you'll get an answer. I'd say try getting in touch with them, but there's no contact information on the website.

Maybe it just needs a short break ...

I don't expect this to end well ...

It's easier to blame Reddit (or any service) than it is to take accountability for one's actions.

If you're going to post something like this, at least mention what said elephant is. It might not be as obvious to others as it is to you. And that current so-called elephant in the room might be different depending on where you live.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing more discussion about:

It just might fit into my garage, too ...

But I wonder how much it costs to maintain this mecha. Doubt I can do it with the tools that I have lying around.

Sounds like Google Glass, part 2.

But do hermits have email addresses? Or smartphones?

You're not the only one who did ...

Just because someone doesn't like something doesn't mean that something sucks. I've tried pumpkin beer and it's not my thing. But I know some people who go gaga over it. To each their own ...

The link in this post and https://porkbun.com/blog/ are both 404ing at the moment. Maybe Porkbun will fix it soon.

The link should be https://opensource.net. Accidentally added a q to the end of the URL. Can anyone fix this? Thanks!

The new home for the former Opensource.com news site.

And sometimes what you start collapses under the weight of a lot of factors, or it becomes apparent that it's a dead end part way through the process.

An open source kanban board, with web and desktop versions

The question is will the crackdown be successful? Or will the millionaires' lawyers, etc. stymie those new “compliance efforts”?

This is definitely worth watching.

I vaguely remember someone doing something along these lines about 10 or 15 years ago. Kind of a 30 days living in the Linux terminal kind of experiment. It does show that you can be productive in the terminal (assuming you want to give it a try).

This post is a bit meta, isn't it?

I guess that kid isn't getting an iPhone :-)

Ah, I miss the days of dial up internet (not just on Linux) ... :-)

At least it was a tweet related to Ethereum. Probably why it lasted as long as it did.

Unless you type in something like Windows Notepad or paper notepad, which does return results.

Strange, very strange.

No, I did not. If I had, my description would have been a lot more glowing and market-y :-)
