devonnullon Ask HN: How do you find good personal blogs on Google nowadays?

I don't know. All of those sites seem to be small, personal passion projects. I'm sure that more than a few people with personal blogs submit to all of them

devonnullon Ask HN: How do you find good personal blogs on Google nowadays?

I don't use Google. Instead I turn to:

devonnullon Ask HN: If you had $10M in the bank, would you still show up to your job?

No. For me, work pays my bills and funds my (modest) lifestyle. With $10 million in the bank (or invested wisely), I won't need to work. I could continue to live my life the way I do and not have to worry about the ridiculousness of the corporate world.

devonnullon Instapaper is now on Rakuten Kobo e-readers

devonnullon Ask HN: What do you do with all your unused tech "swag"?

If I'm not using it, I usually give it away. The only things I've kept from conferences/events that I've attended are a couple of metal water bottles, a flash drive or three, and a bottle opener.

devonnullon USAF cargo rocket could land anywhere on Earth in under 90 minutes

Not a new concept. I remember reading about something like this being mooted in the 1960s.

devonnullon Ask HN: Why were lengthy type‑in programs legal in the '80s?

The OP has a history of posting nonsensical and illogical questions like this on Hacker News. Wondering if they're doing this just to try to bump up their karma or if they're actually spending their time thinking about this sort of silliness.

devonnullon Ask HN: What's the Most Useful Piece of Career Advice You've Received?

Take what you do seriously, but don't take yourself too seriously.

devonnullon Ask HN: Laptops with a touch screen are terrible?

I'm ambivalent. My employer issued me with a touch screen laptop and I rarely touch the screen. So much so that I forget that the screen is touch sensitive.

It does get a bit annoying on those occasions when I try to wipe a bit of dust of something off the screen and accidentally hit the button to leave a meeting or close a window. That doesn't happen too often, though.
