It would be a competitive advantage which would make some people more valuable than others.

As far as profit and motives, I think it may be similar to tractors: Someone will make money on the equipment and service, farmers will be more productive which will kill farming jobs, and more food will be produced. I don't see an altruistic path.

Because the feedback of the world at large would be terribly outdated and terribly mismatched.

You can already see the results of a society where data comes in too quick for the "average" citizen to process. Fake news, hoaxes, Trump, climate change deniers, anti-vaxxers, etc.

This technology cannot come soon enough.

The notion of censorship exists because it happens. Facebook admitted doing it. But I suppose this is another fact you will confuse with an opinion.

There is evidence and admission of guilt that facebook censored right wing "news".

There seems to be evidence that something is going on at twitter. It could be technical in nature, but that is exacly what people said during the facebook stuff (its the algorithm not censorship)

This is concerning and gives the right some credibility when they claim "fake news" and "censorship".

Brave browser is also a good idea but I doubt it will gain traction. It should have been a plugin.

After being frustrated with the lack of "decent" blockers for my other devices (android, iphone, tablets, etc) I started blocking network wide now. It will be difficult to go back.

I blocked ads on pc after getting infected.

I blocked ads on mobile devices when they started buzzing my phone, sending me the the play store, giving me popups, etc.

now I block everything on all my devices using pi-hole
