droideqa··on Uncertain<T>
Could this be implemented in Rust or Clojure?

Does Anglican kind of do this?

droideqa··on Deterministic Simulation Testing in Rust: A Theater of State Machines
Reminds me of FoundationDB and Antithesis[0].

droideqa··on Enough AI copilots, we need AI HUDs
I want a link to the GitHub for this[0] which he linked to. Makes Prolog quite interesting.

droideqa··on OCaml Programming: Correct and Efficient and Beautiful
What about Haskell STM versus OCaml Multicore Eio?
droideqa··on What will become of the CIA?
Well I assume the NSA is competent, not sure about CIA.
droideqa··on What will become of the CIA?
A good article that is critical of the previous book by Weiner ("Legacy of Ashes") is this article[0].

Here is a quote from it: "A Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist has distorted what was said, why it was said, when it was said, and the circumstances under which it was said—all to support his thesis that CIA has been a continuous failure from 1947 up to the present. Weiner’s use of the plural 'final gatherings' in the excerpt from his account suggests he knows what he is doing."

droideqa··on India's richest man wants to turn every TV into a PC
This was posted yesterday[0] but I think it is something that should get more attention.

droideqa··on Kryptos K4 Decoded: Final Passage of CIA Sculpture Solved After 30 Years
Awesome!

I would pay for a layman’s book that explained how all 4 parts were solved.

droideqa··on The Artilect War – Cosmists vs. Terrans (2005) [pdf]
I am a proud cosmist!
droideqa··on MilliForth-6502, A Forth For The 6502 CPU
Sorry, didn't check Algolia properly. My fault.

droideqa··on NSA to cut up to 2k civilian roles
I thought this was quite saddening.
droideqa··on The Lisp in the Cellar: Dependent types that live upstairs [pdf]
Sadly "deputy clojure" on Google brings no results...

droideqa··on Typed Lisp, a Primer
I had such high hopes for Shen but the licensing shenanigans at the beginning prevented it from having a great, large open source community.
droideqa··on Tail Call Recursion in Java with ASM (2023)
Cool, now ABCL can have TCO!
droideqa··on US appeals court rules AI generated art cannot be copyrighted
Could a corporation be the author of a picture? Corporations have all the rights of people in the USA, right?

I always wondered why we don’t just let AIs run corporations and therefore give them personhood rights.

droideqa··on They're Close to My Body: A Hagiography of Nine Inch Nails and Robin Finck (2020)
I don’t know if I like NIN, but I love Trent Reznor’s collaborations with Atticus Ross and I love How to Destroy Angels.
droideqa··on Stoicism's appeal to the rich and powerful (2019)
"You want to live 'according to nature'? Oh, you noble Stoics, what deceptive words! Think of a being like nature, prodigal beyond measure, indifferent beyond measure, without purpose or consideration, without pity or justice, at once fruitful and barren and uncertain—do you want to live according to such indifference?" - Nietzsche
droideqa··on "Big 3" science fiction magazines including Asimov's and Analog acquired
Anybody reading this might appreciate ‘Astounding’[0]:

“Astounding is the landmark account of the extraordinary partnership between four controversial writers—John W. Campbell, Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, and L. Ron Hubbard—who set off a revolution in science fiction and forever changed our world. ”
