dynamic99··on Ask HN: What are some novel ways for consumers to influence corporate behavior?
Of course, this is the obvious answer. Just curious to see if anyone had any interesting, novel thoughts on the idea.
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Who got on to Startup School?
Got an acceptance followed by a notification that it was a mistake 90 minutes later. Really sucks, I got excited. Maybe next year.
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (August 2018)
Awesome mission! What is your business model?
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Why do you keep a personal knowledge base?
This is exactly the problem that I seem to have. I'm looking for a way to turn that unfocused research into something productive, and it's a tough problem to solve.
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Why do you keep a personal knowledge base?
Very interesting... what about more tacit knowledge (ideas, advice, etc)?
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Why do you keep a personal knowledge base?
How do you retain/go back to those ideas? Or do you at all?
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Why do you keep a personal knowledge base?
How do you go back to your tactics/strategy notes? For me, I never stumble across old ideas when they would actually be relevant, but systemic review of these ideas seems like a big hassle.
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Why do you keep a personal knowledge base?
How exactly do you "retain"? Do you memorize or do you have a way of going back to notes efficiently?
dynamic99··on Ask HN: What's your way of saving/recollecting important career notes?
Does anybody think it would be a good idea to use AI to automate reminders of the information when it becomes relevant? How would something like that be implemented?
dynamic99··on Active investing: what's your approach?
How successful has this approach been? Specifically point 3
dynamic99··on Ask HN: What can we do against terrorist attacks, like the one in Paris?
Didn't you just tip-toe around it?
dynamic99··on Microsoft Xim
According to the way it was pronounced in the video on the bottom of the page, it's Zim.
dynamic99··on Perfect MacBook Pro specs for developers?
My budget won't allow me to get an i7 processor unfortunately, unless I limit myself to only 8gb ram (vs 16 with the i5).

I'm coming from web development to ios development, so I'm not sure if I'm going to be taking advantage of hyperthreading.

dynamic99··on How to Think
Farnam Street is an awesome blog. I've been following it for the past year and a half or so, and it's really a collection of priceless information.
dynamic99··on Debunking Princeton
This is just awesome
dynamic99··on In memory of Aaron, bulk XML of every federal and state law and court ruling

dynamic99··on The Best To-Do List: A Private Gist
I'm still a huge fan of Vesper. It's the perfect TODO list. It just works.
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (January 2014)
Is remote a possibility for an intern? And are internships available for high school students?
dynamic99··on Ubuntu HTML5 SDK
Objective-C gets a bad wrap.
dynamic99··on Ubuntu HTML5 SDK
The benefits would be more developer-geared rather that beneficial for Apple.
dynamic99··on Introducing government.github.com
Awesome! I'm signed up for alpha! Thanks!
dynamic99··on Introducing government.github.com
As a developer myself, I know it's hard to put a timetable on these kinds of things. That said, do you have a vague idea of when this is going to be released?

I'm on a Debate team, and this would be an awesome tool to collaborate on cases. I would use Github for it, but my team is not too tech savvy.

Oh, and is this going to be open source? I'd love to help out with this project.

dynamic99··on Google +1's Correlation with Higher Search Rankings
Isn't this obvious? Google _made_ +1s (and Google+).
dynamic99··on Statement on planned Fourth of July demonstrations
That is the most generic statement ever...
dynamic99··on Ask HN: Becoming a Freelancer in 6 months?
I love this.

Just get out there and do it.

dynamic99··on Show HN: Ever wish you could save what you had just heard? Thank my 2-year-old
Two things:

1) Battery killer, right? 2) My phone is usually in my pocket... is it going to catch things that are, I don't know, 5 feet away if it's in my pocket?

dynamic99··on Ask HN: Python web programming without a framework?
Not problems so to say.

I don't want to have to work around a framework or have one get in the way. I would rather redo the work, knowing 100% what every line of code in my app is doing. Plus, large frameworks like Django don't even look like Python at times.
