yeah - he's shaken u.s institutional protections to their core. but lucky they keep standing. maybe he or someone else will finally make a break through - but most likely it won't be trump due to his incompetency and him surrounding himself with 'yes' incompetent people.
the people that need the land - lease it first - develop it. if you don't develop it - you don't realize any gain from it. thereby removing speculation.
asset tokenization doesn't have to be tied to crypto.
the legit use cases for crypto i.e people in poor countries etc are not exactly a demographic for VCs or investors to pump money into.
for all the a.i misery with hardware prices i.e ram.
such a wonderful world we live in now.
what china has done is massive - cheap solar panels & batteries - means a lot of places that never had grid connections suddenly have power 24/7 for cheap. with electric cars / hybrid cars from china - means even transportation is now cheap too. some places even have those electric mopeds too.
nothing beats free energy from the sun.
looking at azure - the traditional .net shops will insist on mssql instead of cosmosdb - when cosmosdb might fit their needs.
so many things wrong in the m$ ecosystem that could be fixed with m$ showing a little bit of care and deploying knowledgable engineers or resources to empower their customers.
losses vs assets at hand.
they've the most deployed software in the world - the software is inadequate most of the times (i.e full of bugs). 2nd the software is prone to misuse cz M$ doesn't have enough people listening to customers and making software meet the needs of its users.
if there was a company that should've done the Forward deployed thingy is Microsoft.
no matter the place the judiciary can be stacked to favor a party. in the US right now it's stacked to favor Trump & the republicans.
just like how u r complaining abt the brazilian judiciary.
is that true though ? let's think about finance say a simple M&A deal for TV show rights ?
i think us engineers n i'm assuming u r one - we tend to underestimate the complexities in the world specially in worlds governed by 'words'.
for 'A.I' to work for the rest of industry outside of software - you need high touch customization.
LEO satellites could've been deployed by other satellite providers but they wanted to gouge regular customers and live off of large gvt / telecom contracts till starlink disrupted their model via innovator's dilemma.
Europe etc could easily deploy their own constellation of LEO satellites.
hell wasn't it what caused that Saudi journalist to get killed in the Saudi embasssy cz Israeli's sold the software to Saudis ?
damn what a pleasurable experience of using a click wheel.
every ad these days on TV specially during sports is either gambling, pharma - glp1s, some random medicine with obscene side effects or political ads. & fast-food or fast food delivery sprinkled in.
will the never ending musk promises around his cars - level 4 autonomous driving etc bear fruit ?
can't even talk about the roadster
research markets, research TAMs (they can be too big or too small - which is fatal) - read books about selling. reach out to potential customers in your target markets that match the TAM you want.
do pilots.
only after that then you can start building.
obama enforced immigration without all the drama and the criminality.
whereas here in the states - once you're a billionaire - jail or being held personally liable is a foreign concept.
for us that come from poor countries - it fuels degrowth. you want us to shut down coal plants & yet you don't want us to trade with china.
even in rich countries such as Germany - cost of energy has been a factor in slowing down growth because bureaucrats said so. while private planes keep flying, good keep getting shipped from overseas.
china has enabled cheap solar - which in turn has enabled cheap access to electricity. china has enabled cheap electric vehicles. for a bunch of people in 'poor' or 3rd world countries - in the next few years their first cars will be chinese EVs not Japanese 2nd hands or other 2nd hands from western countries.
zAI served their latest model for free on chinese chips, now deep seek is saying run inference for cheap on Huawei chips.
even the RAM madness is about to end once the chinese ram providers unleash Ram onto the market in 2027.
lastly remember the chinese have the largest electricity production and the cheapest.
