> Automatically finds the best open-weight model for your hardware on first install

Do you have examples of what hardware runs what models?

eecks··on Security Disclosure
You are most likely correct. I did something else that broke my deploy and left me in a stuck state so it's hard to say for me.

> There is no special caste of people who alone have permission to propose ideas.

I love this

eecks··on There isn't an easy exploit for this PHP vulnerability
and it's often not the right thing to do. Let's say the blog post was from a top social media influencer. Would that carry more weight for you? We should look at the content of the post more than the poster.

I had assumed the original commenter OWNED the company. Yes, I agree with you that if he is an employee then take the time off.
eecks··on Security Disclosure
I rotated mine. If you just change the keys and hit deploy it works
eecks··on Railway Security Disclosure
Correct me if I am wrong - if the API keys are compromised, then a large bill could be racked up?
eecks··on Security Disclosure
Huh, I've been using Railway tonight and this was the first I've seen of this. Just got an email about it now too at 23:36

It has gotten a lot better and it's useful for information on most normal search queries now.
eecks··on "I'm on a war footing": Terry Tao and the crisis in math
I see your point but if self driving cars existed, worked like advertised and were economically viable they would and should be in every country in the world.

The same isn't true for elephants.

eecks··on "I'm on a war footing": Terry Tao and the crisis in math
0 self driving cars in my country

I looked up Luma and some events near me have 100s of people attending. Is it fake numbers, pulling them from somewhere else or is Luma very popular and I've just never heard of it?
eecks··on Show HN: Build your own theme park
"My job is to figure out the right context and guardrails so that when you prompt “Build me a dashboard,” the result actually looks like your existing product."

What is the challenge here? Yes if you don't guide an LLM it will come up with it's own design.. but you can just tell it to use your brand and assets and it works pretty well

eecks··on Nvidia agrees to acquire Hugging Face for $13B

eecks··on Ask HN: What is your #1 practical lesson or "aha" moment from coding with AI?
Why did you take this position? Is it better for you to type out a specific function or class rather than it being generated by an LLM?
eecks··on Ask HN: What tools are you using for AI-assisted code review?
Do you already use static code analysis tools?
eecks··on SpaceX to buy Cursor for $60B
I am out of the loop with Cursor. Did they make their own LLM model or do you mean they just capture what is being sent to other models and that is valuable?
eecks··on Thank HN: Five months ago, I was feeling like a loser, now I am opposite
