yeah, I've heard that too - I have a new forester - it's def slow/finicky

maybe I'll get a outback instead next time, they are kind of the same to me though the hybrid on the forester I have def makes it a more pleasant less CVT'y ride...

subaru infotainment is junk but they are a good deal for a safe car

public accounting firms are, as a rule, generally loaded with people who aren't that capable (there are exceptions for sure)

I doubt they even knew what was going on

usbx gives you 1tb for that which is enough unlike you're an archivist

ding ding ding

why not use just usbx for your "iso" needs - it costs $5-$15/month and might be cheaper than your home kwh usage and is less headache

maybe so, but it is very vocal about they are the most modest

don't the coastal elites want single payer healthcare?

doesn't that help everyone?

what am I missing?

sadly, the best way to get data on flights it to use the airlines app - not anything you'd find at the airport

also, it's easiest to use that same app for the boarding pass too these days

once I printed them out (with the provided pdf) thinking it would be easier, the printed paper didn't work and they said I HAD to install and use the app or go back to a kiosk and use one of their printouts and lose my place in line...)

maybe so but that would imply the end user is opening sketchy files - most of the time these products are for low risk files

so true - modern windows has no contrast between windows - so terrible

office 2003 (for word + excel at least) were peak - after the ribbon it all went downhill

-having lived in MO, yeah, pretty scary

-don't miss the hill restaurants

-maybe still stick around if you own a house such as to help prevent it being set ablaze that night inadvertently...

so true - I use some outlook vba to send mass emails programmatically

why not just get the least obtrusive physical sunscreen like "clear" thinksport?

My fear is that all of these chemical based ones increase the rates of disease in susceptible populations which is hard to detect

this is not surprising at all - much of Big 4 is BS

umm, perhaps because it's offensive?

I much prefer an ahk script to move the mouse a few pixels periodically...

Yes

fwiw, if your sleep apnea is when you're on your back, consider somnopose/torena and put your phone is a running vest like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D24X29WQ

life changing for me

isn't this already possible via a breathalizer?

I generally just use tor browser and proton (verified through a disposable email address only accessed via the tor browser) - seems secure enough for me?

I use it often...

my dell is hot garbage from work

ive found the web versions use a similar amount of memory and have fewer features

my issue is that my company won't issue laptops with more than 16 gbs of ram

guess i'm not virtualizing anything...

that's not 100% true

excel 2003 did 95% of what "modern" excel does without most of those issues...

why not use a vm/wine for a native experience (though, tbf, native excel is kind of hot garbage these days compared to older versions...)

Norway is probably one of the better managed countries on earth

yeah, it's fine for me - probably as good as an electron app can get (def not good as a true native app but it's def better than having to use my phone...)

Trump will soon be issuing the "World Alternative Factbook" as a natural replacement
