I’ve coded for 30 years. But I’ve always been motivated by outcome, imagination, intuition, & speculation. Coding was always a means to an end not the end itself. This is the funnest I’ve ever had creating software.

You can feel free to cope by inventing imaginary bad guys. But the reality is that there are a wide variety of reasons people coded by hand. And people that are different than you aren’t somehow inferior or bad.

That's one way to twist it. What I'm intending to say is that you offload tedious bullshit to AI agents so you can focus on stuff you enjoy and live your life. And for people that like doing things like changing xcode settings (more than time with their kids) there is nobody stopping them from doing that.

Multiple rounds of specialized sub agent peer reviews that are prompted to counter this works really well. Once you have the right pipeline in place you should not be needing to do the simplifying yourself very often.

Claude -> specialized sub agents peer review -> specialized sub agents peer review -> repeat as many times as needed

It’s not worth your time until you’ve run through such a pipeline.

That’s not true. I would not treat a walk where I am working with Claude Code as a break. It’s just as much work as desk work is. You still owe yourself a proper break.

You can also just talk it out loud to Claude while you’re on a walk getting some sunshine. Done.

Not entirely but I would use this and not Figma. I am passionate about system design not visual design so I don’t want to waste time in figma.

What if you’re a musician and use design as part of your marketing? Why should a musician deep dive design when they really only care about music?

What if you don’t give a shit about design and it’s a means to an end for a project that involves something different that you do care about?

Depends on what you’re building and whether it’s recreational or not. Complex architecture vs a ui analysis tool, for example. For a ui analysis tool, the only reason you code by hand is for the joy of coding by hand. Even though you can drive a car or fly in a plane there are times to walk or ride a bike still.

It could also be a skill problem. It would be more helpful if when people made llm sucks claims they shared their prompt.

The people I work with who complain about this type of thing horribly communicate their ask to the llm and expect it to read their minds.

This is an incredibly uneducated take on multiple levels. If you're talking about Bitcoin specifically, even though you said "blockchain", I can understand this as a political talking about 8 years ago. You don’t even mention FSD here, I assume strategically. That, to me, is the most important feature. Does Equinox or Ioniq even have FSD?

How do you know the effort that went into the message? Somebody with writing challenges may have written the whole thing up and used ai assistance to help get a better outcome. They may have proof-read and revised the generated message. You sound very judgmental.
