Useless OS. Will be getting a Surface.

Would love to see some real highres screenshots. Even if the real world is lower res, to get an idea of the quality. I am still annoyed that you cant test the HoloLens on Microsoft stores.

I would get one of this instead of buying several monitors.

If you don't use Emacs, what do you use?

Visual Studio? What if you are on a Mac? Xcode?, what about linux? Code blocks?

And then what about email and tasks? Gmail? Outlook? Wunderlist?

And notes? Google Keep? Evernote?, wait, no Onenote!, but then they dont have a linux client.

What about file management? Total commander on a PC?, Forklift on a mac? and mc on Ubuntu?

What about sharing settings and shortcuts between all these across multiple OSs?

I use Emacs for all this and it works the same on every OS.

It's a portable OS/Lisp Machine.

Having a friendlier, good looking "Preferences" based on gtk would help newcomers. We could keep customize too but a new panel with simple familiar look would help a lot of people to get into emacs.

When I see these demos or hololens demos I always wonder if the resolution is good enough to code. To read text clearly without blurred effects or jaggies. After all the text is being mapped to a texture in 3d. These demos work but are they usable?
