The scary thing is the $15 chargeback fee since we plan on charging $5/month.

Are chargebacks a common occurrence?

Does that mean you consider PayPal trust worthy?

We've never used it, and we don't know how people feel about it.

I know it's strange to consider using something we don't know much about, but we don't see another way short of developing our own payment system, which, considering our (barely existent) experience, would not be responsible.
