fhars··on Furifont, a Japanese font that shows furigana
That algorithm fails for languages as exotic as English with its three character ligatures like ffl that are used in truffle, but not in cufflink.

The real challenge is Arabic, though, see https://fontspec.org/opentype-shaping/opentype-shaping-arabi...

fhars··on Herdr: Agent multiplexer that lives in your terminal
If you like scary, there are also emacs based agents like gptel which support tools like "eval-elisp".

A kitchen sink is almost indistinguishable from a sandbox, right?

... right?

I have always seen this a a signal that the drinker doesn't want drowned wasps in their beer.
fhars··on The last Romans are still around
Depending on who's legal fiction you believe, the Roman Empire was only dissolved in 1806 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichsdeputationshauptschluss

That is the point of failing safe. It would me much worse if some of the trains kept running...

It's not, it was a scheduled software update.

On the other hand, I recently installed a system with debian 13, and it was really easy to distinguish between X11 and wayland sessions: if the session displays a plasma desktop, it's X11, if it crashes on login, it is wayland. YMMV if you try to switch to wayland.
fhars··on A 10 year old Xeon is all you need
And if you ever run out of things to do in your copious free time, it looks like that PR #1744 was merged without the has_target_ctx assert two days after you uploaded your drafter quants. So you can now redo all your quants and rerun all your benchmarks ;-).
