Now if you want to pay it forward, I am in the same situation…

I spent a few hours this week creating a FreeBSD port for Drone, only to find out that the OSS version of Drone doesn't support external workers and since FreeBSD doesn't do Docker, Drone is pretty much useless on FreeBSD. It would be great if it was mentioned in their documentation so I didn't waste my time with Drone, but it's not. Concourse on the other hand seems to work on FreeBSD and doesn't have artificial limits to try and sell something.
fsck0ff··on Ask HN: How can we not let US push us away?
H1B is a non-immigrant visa, you are a temporary worker, not "legal immigrant"

fsck0ff··on Ask HN: I'm quadriplegic – can you help me with my security?
Well I guess you could use something like that: http://notimpossiblelabs.com/eyewriter with some software modification (pure speculation as I haven't even checked the code) you could use eye movement and blinking to simulate mouse input and with on screen keyboard you should be able to write your password somewhat securely http://www.ted.com/talks/mick_ebeling_the_invention_that_unl...

also shouldn't be expensive to build... [edit] link to the github repo the software can be found here https://github.com/eyewriter/

fsck0ff··on Linux cheat sheet
I can't believe a list of commands is GPL licensed, this is ridiculous...
fsck0ff··on Antibiotic 'apocalypse' warning
I am not sure if this helps in any way, but it just popped up in my newsfeed http://mashable.com/2013/01/24/ibm-hydrogel/
