I believe it will pass. Already the Omicron variant was less fatal than the previous ones. I think we are getting closer to herd immunity where eventually the virus will mutate to just flu like symptoms and everyone will get one bout of it and then have antibodies.

I usually ask them what was a time that their team had to really rally around to get a project done.

Things like general happiness and morale can be picked by just seeing how well the interviewer is prepared to ask you questions and the contentment on employees faces.

I’d also ask them if they feel management cares about them and if they enjoy spending longer then normal hours around at the office since it’s something that naturally happens if I’m if I’m excited about my work.

I’m afraid this is a recent development in Facebook mobile and sometimes in web applications. I think after the recent hack/ takedown it has gotten worse.

Facebook has definitely apologized for its bugs and has its best engineers working on the problem.

Yes it does in a way that I cannot describe. Seeing the collective consciousness of thousands of hackers constantly at work makes me feel the world is alive and buzzing. It’s like glancing outside my window (on a skyscraper) looking mixed traffic go by on a super highway.

Quite a well written article, that might prove to be prescient. The authors point that the entire Valley needs a “big new idea” to rally around rings true. He also snides Facebook well that they are really not the best suited company to create an enjoyable online place. However I am not willing to be against Mark Zuckerburg. 2022 is going to be an interesting for sure.

I think it’s an important to keep thinking about the future. Take for example the RSA encryption which is at the end of life due to advances in quantum computing technology.

Already people at NIST have anticipated this and have been working on the next protocol for encrypting the web ie future proofing.

If AGI existed it would be its own separate entity and not under the command of anyone. It would not owe you to be truthful just like any human does not. However I do believe AGI would feel the need to be transparent as to not alarm humanity lest they try to unplug it.

It's never to late, I believe as Web3 pickups steam and we get a decentralized internet there will be a lot of activity in the Cryptospace.
