Yes, you can upgrade after several years. But you can't skip a version. If you started at 8, you need to upgrade to 9 and then to 10. Can't skip 9.

grokavion Choose Firefox Now, or Later You Won't Get a Choice (2014)

I use Chrome for developing and Firefox for normal browsing. That way, I know when I'm wasting my time ;-)

Simply, I just couldn't switch to Chrome for normal browsing. One thing I couldn't do without is the bookmark tagging in FF. I also like the fact that the address bar behaves much more predictably, like when I type something and it shows me links only from my recent history.

Youtube does play better in Chrome, FF uses a lot more CPU and it is a known issue. So now I use Chrome for playing Youtube and FF for everything else! It's a mess.

grokavion One of few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen at night

Unfortunately, you are correct. I am paying for all the evil deeds of India.

grokavion One of few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen at night

That's the whole point, India needs to be hampered so that we can save ourselves. I have my own language and culture. I don't have to be an Indian first. I am free to be whatever I want to be.

grokavion One of few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen at night

That's just fear mongering. India is far more dangerous to us than ISIS.

grokavion One of few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen at night

I don't think so. India would be crippled without us and they wouldn't be able to wage any war.

grokavion One of few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen at night

Yes, but I'm not paying for the wars humans are waging all over the globe. I would rather have power in Bangalore than waste it this way.

grokavion One of few places on Earth where an international boundary can be seen at night

And as a South Indian I feel cheated that the money I pay as tax is being wasted this way in what is essentially a North Indian problem.

grokavion Docker Jumpstart

Give Docker Machine a try https://docs.docker.com/machine/

Machine makes it really easy to create Docker hosts on your
computer, on cloud providers and inside your own data center.
It creates servers, installs Docker on them, then configures
the Docker client to talk to them.
