Yes, the UI isn't exactly the best thing even for tablets, so we refrained from releasing it for phones. Though you could always side load it once we have it in fdroid.
hellozee··on First Krita Beta for Android and ChromeOS in Play Store
Yes only for tablets and chromebooks for now.

It uses Qtwidgets and mauikit qml so it would be a heck of a job to port that to qml

hellozee··on First Krita Beta for Android and ChromeOS in Play Store
Exactly, it is on our plans, would take a bit of time.

The UI in the current form is not suitable for phones, but efforts are being made, :)
hellozee··on First Krita Beta for Android and ChromeOS in Play Store
Not for chromebooks, unfortunately
hellozee··on Kubuntu Linux 19.10 for a digital painting workstation
Number of people gained on releasing a linux port is low, since most of them are existing customers. Thus the cost to port to a new platform is not justified.

Why not contribute a little every month to Krita so that it can hire more developers to work, if Krita has the budget of Photoshop, it would just blow it out of water.

PS: Right now there are 5 full time devs and 2 part time, :)

hellozee··on Krita Weekly #10 – Krita Development Updates
Hehe, thanks, :D
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
Smart Objects were introduced in CS2, so no, :)
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
I never said Krita is a PS alternative, :P

Figma is good, but Photopea is ... well, not bad but something feels missing from it.
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
The newer thinkpads are meh, compared to what the older ones were
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
I dont think you can call this team[1] small, compared to Krita, :)

I never told them to fix it, they can file a bug report which would help, if Krita seg faults then there is dialog which does that for you, :)

Take an example you scaled down and 1000x1000px image to 100x100px and then scaled it up back to 1000x1000px. In the process you lost a lot of info on the image.

PS solves that by using Smart Objects, Krita by Transform Masks, GIMP? Nope

hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
Not only Darktable but Darktable paired with digiKam, :)
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
Not completely, unfortunately, :(
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
No non destructive editing available is one of the biggest drawbacks
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
Can't speak for GIMP but Krita is growing exponentially, :)
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
Ohh my bad
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
You didn't get it right? Most of the customers who would switch are already using CC on Mac or Windows so why add the costs of maintenance and support for another platform.

Aside from that, their code base is somewhat quirky, which would definitely increase the cost of porting

hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
Scribus?
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
I tried to make it as less click baity as I could, but can't resist, :P
hellozee··on Linux doesn't have Photoshop
You got to be judicious with limited resources, :)
