Question is to people who say if universe is teeming with life, then why is it not visible close by: We don't know how large the universe is. If say life is "teeming" means it's found every 1M Parsec on the size of 10^100M Parsec, wouldn't it be teeming, and yet nothing in our vicinity?

Almost always, for such emails, you are not the audience. We've done multiple tests to check which emails perform better for our customers, and always ones with a lot more visual imagery, heavily HTMLized emails work better than just text and links.

Our understanding for this has been that people are not very email savvy, and for them the visual imagery works more like story telling.

Split the dockerfile into 3 parts. builder image for gems. builder image for assets(nodejs and stuff). copy code from disk, gems from image one, assets from image two, into the third image. you will end up saving HUGE time

We do understand that some people may have a financial problem. When user's approach us and tell us that they are not paying due to such issues, we are more than happy to accommodate them in every possible way.

One such example of that is that we told our users that we won't be charging them any late fee during the lockdown as we understand they have issues. We did this even before our government came up with such an option.

We run an algorithm which tries to ascertain that the contacts list is not fake/empty. Uninstalling the app would only prevent us from getting new contacts, and ability to notify you of your pending bills via push notification.

When giving loans, we have something called references, who are people the lender can request to get the loans repaid. We are using the user's contacts in the same way.

These people are not poor. They assume that since it's an app they taking money from, they can simply refuse to pay. We can, and do, go for the legal route, but it's much much more painful for the user, and for us, even if we want to settle it once a case is filed.

The money comes in from businesses who are offered loans based on the transaction volume PhonePe sees. Online businesses that use "Pay with PhonePe" links have to pay commission. In the broad sense, if it scales, it's a pretty decent business.

Interesting! Is there a way to use this, or some other library, that can spin up a GPU instance, on AWS or GCE, if there are no GPUs available, and discard GPUs when no more tasks are left?
