iamasuperuser··on Show HN: Zopamind. A B2B Negotiation Sidekick
Feedback welcome!
iamasuperuser··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (January 2026)
I'm working on a negotiation tool. A sidekick for negotiations. No public domain yet.
iamasuperuser··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (December 2025)
https://www.pocketpmo.com PocketPMO is meant for Founders, Project Managers and Project Manager Officers. It allows them to quickly size, cost, plan track and report on multiple projects. Teams can be added, Stakeholders managed, Risks Registered and Budgets tracked.
iamasuperuser··on Show HN: A C-Suite AI Agent Meant for SMB

iamasuperuser··on Show HN: Made a free Sprint Retrospective app
The site looks fantastic and I love the logo. Crisp and clever. Best of luck with the site (great domain name)
iamasuperuser··on “Laws” of software estimation for complex work (2021)
Software estimates are unavoidable. I find this approach the best; rapidlyeatimate.com It works well to bypass anchoring and biasing by initially focusing on ‘divergent thinking’. It's as accurate as any I'm come across.
iamasuperuser··on What Decision Making Frameworks to the C-Suite Use?
Would you be able to advise as to what business models or decision making frameworks you use within the C-Suite? I'd like to validate the list that exists as a learning tool for Project Manager & how they can both learn from them and assist with them? Thanks
iamasuperuser··on Ask HN: Share your personal site
I'm building https://theprojectmanagement.expert I'm seeking to shorten the timeframe that it takes for someone to get from the level of an Expert after they are certified. The site would also be useful for non project managers, as it provides bite sized chunks of information.
iamasuperuser··on ROM Auctioneering; Accurately estimate complex projects in one hour
Thank you for the feedback. You clearly understand Project Management. I’m an advocate for Earned Value. It offers deep insights into a project during the Execution and Control phase. This ROM Auctioneering method is meant for the Initiation phase and allows the facilitator to create an accurate Rough Order of Estimation as possible, within an hour rather than the days or weeks that I typically saw it taking. One failing of this approach is that it doesn’t account for Critical Path identification or analysis. However, I suppose it could be the groundwork for analysis in that area and for Risk Identification too.
iamasuperuser··on ROM Auctioneering; Accurately estimate complex projects in one hour
Determining the Critical Path, the sequence of events that must happen from Start to Finish, is the next critical step. This conversation pours cold water on the Mythical Man month. (If the manager 'gets it)
iamasuperuser··on Map Shows How a Location Has Changed over the Past 750M Years
This map will become very useful when Time Travel tourism takes place!
iamasuperuser··on The Next Recession Will Be About Sovereign Debt
This site and the links per country makes for interesting follow up reading: https://commodity.com/debt-clock/
iamasuperuser··on Ask HN: Which checklist, or other tools, do you use for estimation?
After defining the Definition of Done (or equivalent) I find P.E.R.T.[formula] the most useful, with the Standard Deviation [formula] a good source of uncovering undeclared risks.
iamasuperuser··on Show HN: Expensive Chat – Pay one cent per letter
This could make for an interesting idea for 'Quora for mentors', whereby someone pays money (maybe more than 1c) to ask a specific question to a 'business leader'.
iamasuperuser··on Ask HN: I'm poor at explaining things, how can I fix that?
I don’t think that there is a quick fix, but I have found the following useful;

1. Think in billboards (Construct your explanation in less than 16 words)

2. Increase your vocabulary. Try wordthink.com daily.

3. Hold off. Don’t speak just yet. Seek to compact your explanation.

4. Reframe it as an analogy or metaphor

5. Even if your audience isn’t a 5 year old, try to describe your idea in a way that they would understand.

Good luck!

iamasuperuser··on Ask HN: Recommend book on Game Theory?
I found the following two to be very helpful, but not related to architect (sorry)

The Teaching Company audiobook or video https://www.amazon.com/Games-People-Play-Theory-Business/dp/...

The Art of Strategy: A Game Theorist's Guide to Success in Business and Life https://www.amazon.com/Art-Strategy-Theorists-Success-Busine...

iamasuperuser··on Ask HN: Do you analyze your AWS Bill?
This might be a handy article for you: https://hackernoon.com/analyze-your-amazon-web-services-aws-...
