This would equalize power dynamics. The large corp shouldn’t be allowed to demand immediate payment on one side and then just significantly delay payments on the other side.

For jobs like nurses, the “people” they work with are not people they are things. The people they actually work with are their colleagues.

From what I know its that prick tests are done after someone has allergy problems to find out what foods or substances trigger the allergy. That can then be used to narrow things down significantly.

To me this sort of bans always feel like an easy way out. Why educate good phone use when you can just impose any rules you want?

While small things like this create a big contrast between "school" and the "real world". When kids are at home doing homework they will have access to phones. They live in a world where every adult always has a phone in their hand. Why not teach them good and healthy ways of using tools and technology?

From what I can tell is that "traction" can give you entry into the right network and circles.

Entry then gets you opportunity to funding.

Heck no building a house or renovating anything is always way more expensive than the initial offered price. Hence the rate for fixed price building of houses is so much more than regular pricing. Somehow build always take way longer and so many if not all contractors leave problematic results.

At Beam[0] we are building a web browser that uses SwiftUI almost everywhere except for the text editor.

So far its been great to build UI and animations with. Each release gives SwiftUI more apis and features, so there are less and less older style apis to wrap in SwiftUI ourselves.

hahaha just no, I remember my crappy hand me down computer was so slow it would chug and struggle to display a nice looking full screen image. You see the old web on your modern lap sized super computer. Go to the thriftstore and pickup a beige windows 95 computer setup and try navigating the web. it was slow, very very slow.
