tldr;

somebody changed the link name. the trailers are nice but I wanted to point to the commenter who onus a bug/feature and pointed it out in the comments.

the link name should be "Dear Webmaster"

read the comment from infomanXP in the disqus comment plugin.

Dear webmaster. This website looks good. I am able to read the contents very well, see the links and navigation menu. Everything is fine but ...

I was watching a fan made trailer and got bored, so i switched to the next trailer. Unfortunately the trailer that i switched from was still playing when i started the next one. I had to go back to the old one and manually switch it off.

Because I am a lazy person and don't like to go back to switch things of, i made a robot ...

1) I jQueryfied your website 2) I put this code in the console 3) I start a trailer 4) I switch to the next trailer 5) Me gusta, old trailer not playing :-)

Please consider to tune your javascript in a similar fashion.

The code:

var old = jQuery('.gallery-slide.selected'); var oldhtml = jQuery(old).html();

jQuery('.gallery-thumbnail').live('click',function(){ jQuery(old).html(oldhtml); old = jQuery('.gallery-slide.selected'); oldhtml = jQuery(old).html(); });

Notify this guy if you want to add your own google glass related startup to the list: https://plus.google.com/117240032172833853307

The USA gets all of europe's bank transaction data above 5000€ or so :/

ok lets go:

This is my pseudo google glass startup called "Hulioly" at http://glass-apps.org

Hulioly is a hillarious startup that is a complete game changer. I founded Hulioly after realizing that there is an untapped 225252334 billion dollar opportunity in internet.

I can't tell you the details about our platform because we are currently in stealth mode, but we are the only player in internet which we will completely disrupt in 4 months. At Hulioly we believe that everyone deserves sex. Our product will bring together big data, social media and google glass to introduce synergies that will democratize, and revolutionize internet.

This idea is so potent yet so deceptively simple that it has the capacity to produce an unlimited amount of profit.

We haven't created our product yet, so we are looking a real ajax gangam to join our team so they can build it for us. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to be a part of the next big thing. We have free food, unlimited vacation, generous equity compensation. Also each week we give you a new iwatch just for being amazing.

If know ajax and 'want in', just tweet me and you'll be on our uber game-changing, revolutionary, disruptive team in no time, helping us change the world!

Was the name a good or bad decision? If you search on google for "infyouse" you get results for the word "infuse"

sharingan -> google glass brings great power to your eyes :-)

there are some reviews and writeups under the gallery, but yes I wished it too sometimes

"As Google has said for several years, we won’t add facial recognition features to our products without having strong privacy protections in place."

I am 30 and I've sent my last hand written letter 15 years ago.

internship for $300k / year would be appropriate

“We just picked up a pair of Google Glass! We’re thrilled to be one of the first (if not the only) porn store to start creating apps and content with Google Glass.”

It is still a problem to be solved because if you buy an iPad on Amazon, you know what you will get. If you buy a potato, it is a different shaped thing every time. -> higher chance of dissatisfaction

i guess they don't care about anything else as long as they can do their job

I think he got the "You’re constantly logged into Facebook ..." wrong. It will be google plus or something completely different

I would like to know if he wanted to keep his Hardware or data that he didn't back up :-/

I can has cheazeburgers?

"... our new Mashable Velocity for Google Glass app alerts you just before a Mashable story goes viral. With it — and a pair of Google Glass — you know what everyone is talking about on the social web, before they're talking about it. ..."

Switch to what?

no we are not! We have got more data to consider before reacting! An other example: Children remember things better than adults because they don't need to go through as many connotations that come with information and can focus on the "simple" facts. Adults have got to push all the data trough their experience and brain filters to add it to the bigger picture ... yes reaction is getting slower, intelligence .. no.

They have done a great job making it easier to have one login for comments across all sites who use their system - the spam problem is not really solved.
