I like the unique keyboard and DIY aspect. But 150 for something I might mess up in the process of building just can't be justified... for now.

Lots of free scifi here: https://librivox.org/search?primary_key=30&search_category=g...

You can find some really good classics in there. The reading is not always very good, but it's free.

You should discuss the code base with your contact and let them know the scenario. Also, if you don't tell them I doubt they'll fire you for you are the resident expert. If they let you go, they'll basically be just be status quo for a long time while the new hires fix the working "mess" and figure out how to tie in 2 new apps. If these new recruits are for you to supervise, all the better. You'll be able to refactor the code faster and they will become very familiar with the system. Good luck!

I haven't played through the demo. But this is very impressive.

No, use Vivaldi.

Before I go to a new city, town or any location, I like to review a map. I don't like to be lost.

Admits it fails, but won't blame himself. What a jerk!

I doubt the Uganda has the infrastructure that the Chinese government has to implement such a complex system. They would have to tax more internet usage. Youtube is probably next. "For every video you watch there is an entertainment tax."

It is true the TOR does not solve the problem. But I don't think discussing how to solve it here would do anything for Uganda.

But if anybody from Uganda does find this. It's time to stand up and fight for your rights as a people and not let the corrupt politicians push you around. In the meantime, if you want to know how to use TOR here is a great tutorial: https://www.pcworld.com/article/2686467/privacy/how-to-use-t...

And here is the Facebook site for TOR: https://facebookcorewwwi.onion/

Good Luck!

Someone needs to make a small sketch of the Uganda government with 7 year olds making up the laws.

Child 1 - "Let's tax people for being on social media to stop them from saying bad things about us" Child 2 - "Yeah that's a great idea. Plus we'll have more money for candy." Govenments notice - "Social media is hereby taxed. Your local ISP will be collecting the tax automatically." People - "Whatever, we'll just use VPN" Government Screams- "AND NO VPNs ALLOWED!"

So much for free speech.

Good luck stopping the tor network.

After watching Lavabit and other encrypted services of America get shutdown. I wouldn't be surprised if the group is being funded by the NSA or other government programs that hate these services for the near absolute privacy. Sure this is just a theory, but there is reason with it. Protonmail has been under attack since its conception. Corrupt government hate the very idea of it.

The only only thing I agree with is doctors compensating for messing up the child's life(accidental maiming). If a sterilization goes wrong that is the risk of the patient. They are told it may not work. All who are sexually active should be held accountable to take care of the children they conceive. No birth is wrongful. All life is precious.

It's about time. I've been waiting for this forever.

There is opportunity everywhere. The middle class is fading more from a lack of individual drive to succeed. My parent went from middle class to absolute broke. They lost their home and lived with their parent for several years while rebuilding what they lost. Now they own a better home and are doing very well. They are a one income family (my father works and has no college degrees) with 5 kids still living with them.

After reading the article the statement "I think McDonald's owes Galax, Virginia some kind of debt." is ridiculous. McDonalds kept their side of the bargain and gave the winnings. After that it's the winner's responsibility to be wise with the money. McDonalds owes nothing. Scotty should be (This is my opinion. I have no affiliation with McDonalds)
