kamban··on Claude Code sends your email address to websites
Treating them like kings was our mistake in the first place. Give it another year, we're going to see a lot more blunders.
kamban··on We Took over ChatGPT Accounts
They have just announced free API credits for Pro plan users up to $500 per month. Irony.
kamban··on Backdoor in Claude Code for VS Code extension on the Cursor Marketplace
Yet, they managed to screw up.
kamban··on AI compute is the new oil–and needs a new market
Fair point. I guess very few have the incentive to do this voluntarily.
kamban··on ChatGPT won't let you type until Cloudflare reads your React state
You nailed it.
kamban··on Show HN: Voice-to-voice translation for meetings (macOS, alpha)
Hi HN,

I built this after struggling in multilingual remote meetings.

This is an early alpha macOS app that translates meeting audio voice-to-voice in real time. It works system-wide (Zoom, Meet, Teams, YouTube, etc.), 100% local processing.

Current limitations: - macOS 26.2+, Apple Silicon only - 10 languages including 30 dialects - No voice cloning - Latency - One-to-one meeting only

I'm mostly looking for feedback from people who work with international teams.

Happy to answer any questions.

kamban··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (February 2026)
I am working on an agent board tool powered by OpenClaw, think of it as a Trello board but tasks get handled by your agents atomically, and moves to your review.
kamban··on GPT-5.3-Codex
Same here, CC gives me options to pick direction after the planning stage.
kamban··on Using GPT-3 on Google Sheets and Excel(Mac)
GPT-3 is a very smart tool, using it on top of Excel and Sheets should help save time.

This article talks about using GPT-3 (using my AI tool) to do your routine tasks on Google Sheets and Excel. Such as extracting data, finding duplicates and so on.

I am open to feedback.

kamban··on Show HN: Generate quiz questions using AI
This is really cool. I saw a similar tool, https://www.questgen.ai/, I am not a teacher, though.
kamban··on Lex: A word processor with artificial intelligence baked in
Lex is good. But https://elephas.app does the same magic across your Mac apps.
kamban··on Show HN: Just a simplified easy way to call URLs automatically without crontab
Looks beautiful. Can I see the execution history along with response status?
kamban··on TLDR explains what a piece of code does
The problem is that they don't understand the practical ways it can be used. Even tech savvy people don’t yet get it. Even my CEO, a kind of technical person, did not understand the full potential until I explained some use cases.

In one scenario, I took the slow running long MySQL query and rewrote that with Codex in 2 mins.

But I think people have started to realize the potential now.

Pitch: My app https://Elephas.app brings GPT-3 and Codex to all applications in MacOS. Many business professionals are using it.

kamban··on A serverless architecture for high performance financial modelling
Fargate would be the closest.
kamban··on A 14kb page can load much faster than a 15kb page
I read it. This is new to me, and I guess one needs to remove so many tags and tracking tools. I hope it only counts to a single server. What happens with the data loaded from CDNs?
kamban··on Ask HN: Future proofing software engineering skills against AI
You are right. AI will take over simple application building. Working with AI will be a good direction. Big data analysis, security, and cloud architecture may be good options.

Not to ignore, all of the above might still utilize AI.

kamban··on Looking for feedback on my new Saas
Post it on Show HN, and you may receive better feedback.
kamban··on Espanso Cross-Platform Text Expander
I have seen its codebase, and even took some inspiration for my Elephas app. The founder is an expert I can say.
kamban··on Show HN: Open Source Canva Clone
It does unfortunately. Here is the excerpt,"The project must be something you've worked on personally and which you're around to discuss."
kamban··on Things people blamed on bicycles
"A decline in grain consumption" - how could this possibly make sense?
kamban··on Show HN: What is your go-to free email provider with custom domain support?
Google Workspace seems to be better than Zoho. I use it now.
kamban··on Show HN: I made a tool to hide HN usernames and reduce bias
Nice concept, but I barely notice the usernames.
kamban··on Show HN: Allsearch – Making it easier to use different search engines seamlessly
Searchaggregate looks nice. I can easily switch engines depending on the search queries.
kamban··on Show HN: MyNotifier – Simple Notifications
Looks neat. I wonder what backend you use to do that since it needs to be able to scale well.
kamban··on Show HN: I built a productivity app for Mac powered by GPT-3
I appreciate the feedback. I will rewrite some parts of the content. "Explain code" might be beneficial to programmers. I actually use it.
kamban··on Show HN: I built a productivity app for Mac powered by GPT-3
Interesting take. I have a rewriting feature, one specifically is "Zinsser" mode. It uses the principles of William Zinsser based on his book "On Writing Well". It is supposed to do exactly that. To remove clutters from the statement. I will continue to fine tune it.
kamban··on Show HN: Elephas V2 – Personal AI Writing Assistant for Mac
Thank you. Users can use shortcuts to open the windows. Even the grammar fixing feature has a shortcut option.
kamban··on Show HN: Elephas V2 – Personal AI Writing Assistant for Mac
Hello everyone,

I got a great response with the V1 launch here. I even got some paid users. I interacted with them to understand their needs better. Based on that, recently launched 2.0, Elephas adds explicit support for email and blog writing. Other additions from 1.0 are translation support and GPT-3 engine adjustment.

kamban··on Show HN: Personal AI Writing Assistant for Mac
I have added more features that let users expand text in different styles, such as professional, friendly, and polite.
kamban··on Show HN: Personal AI Writing Assistant for Mac
"Hi, I am Kamban. I have launched a beta version of the Mac productivity app called Elephas. It can do different tasks, such as fixing grammar mistakes, rewriting a sentence, turning short instructions into an email, and writing an outline for a topic. It works across different applications, such as Pages, Notes, Gmail, Mail, Outlook, and more. Elephas uses OpenA as the AI engine. I would appreciate your feedback."
