kimfuh··on Start-ups Rejected By Y Combinator (And Investors) Flock To YC Reject
Someone should do an American Idol Reject show.
kimfuh··on Rate my app: HealCam, like chatroulette only "sicker"
Sick people doing sick things. I can't believe pleasuring yourself online has gone viral.
kimfuh··on Glyphish icons for Retina now on Kickstarter
When will kickstarter let non-US projects in?
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Good or bad idea? Using a domain that starts with 'the'.
I'd change the name rather than drive traffic to my competitor by accident.
kimfuh··on Poll: Where do you live?
Pilipinas
kimfuh··on Ask HN: what could kill Facebook?
But i'm sure she'd never get a cellphone just like yours. True?
kimfuh··on Ask HN: what could kill Facebook?
'The young are still building their social graph and can be more open to new things. So all those things that tie people to Facebook won’t be relevant to kids growing up today.'

I agree. Was talking to a 9yr-old yesterday and he didn't know what a playstation was. Thought he was kidding at first.

I don't think fb can be killed anytime soon though. It's just so big. Migration of half a billion people to another social networking service can't be simple.

kimfuh··on Ask HN - Rate my startup: Gigayo.com
I'd use 'effective' instead of 'beautiful.'
kimfuh··on I want to live
kayak.com/explore
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Should I get my degree or not?
Seems like you really want to escape the cold. Can't you get a degree in California if money isn't an issue?
kimfuh··on How important is site design?
"Once you're Apple and you have a bajillion dollars, you can afford to polish the insides of your battery cases"

hilarious. and spot on. thanks.

kimfuh··on Experience with Alibaba.com
We used alibaba to order foam surfboards from china. Even with proper design specs, it still took 3 shipments before they got it right. Things just get lost in translation sometimes. Finally got it in the end though. I guess tshirts will be simpler.
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Please review FolderBoy: fluid idea organizer with super-fast search
the logo's fine. reminds me of the fallout mascot. nice site. very clean.
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Future of Facebook?
I've always wondered if apple would ever do that. How they'd stay exist post-jobs.
kimfuh··on "Men Who Do Nothing But Think."
youtube.com/testtube
kimfuh··on Somebody please hire me before I take a job in weapon development
Maybe Taiwan, Korea or Singapore.
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Books - how do you read?
Paranoid?
kimfuh··on Startupshovels
It does look like startup hovels. Maybe StartupShovels.com would be better?
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Dead man coding.
No tomorrow means a limitless today. Read everything here, forget about it, then do absolutely anything you want until you die. Between now and then, you might find something to live for. Happy journey my friend.
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Poll: Help me name my startup.
buybackbooks.com, bookbuyback.com, bookbuy.com, hookabook.com, buybooks.com, bbb.com, bookabook.com, hookabook.com, sembook.com
kimfuh··on Ask HN: How quiet should one keep ideas?
execute what?
kimfuh··on Tell HN: Flesh out your profiles please
I haven't achieved anything of relevance yet. But I don't think that makes my opinion irrelevant.
kimfuh··on IPad effect
Build something better and easier to use and i'll dump Apple, buy your product, and be your number one cheerleader. I was simply trying to convey my surprise that an action totally unrelated to everyday everyman computer use only took a month to become, for me, a reflex.
kimfuh··on Ask HN: Movies that motivate you?
rudy and august rush.
kimfuh··on Draw Your Ideas
I use balsamiq.com
kimfuh··on Tell HN: I am starting an HN related podcast. Need suggestions & co-host.
Can you call it reHN? reverse engineering Hacker News.
kimfuh··on Ask PG: What's the deal with search on HN?
I like not having a search option. It keeps me learning things at random. It keeps the site simple and constantly fresh.
kimfuh··on What iPads Did To My Family
The only thing you can do with a bread maker is make bread. With an ipad, you can connect with your social network, read, play tons of games, watch almost anything, just be constantly online. And maybe, someday, we'll be able to use it to make bread as well.
kimfuh··on Carol Bartz Is Right: Google Does Need to Diversify
Aren't they making moves into energy? Though as long as they retain their dominance in search, they'll be relevant. And profitable. Diversification should never be forced. I believe that Google will evolve naturally.
kimfuh··on What iPads Did To My Family
I lent mine to a 13-year old kid from a small provincial town in the Philippines and, within an hour, it was like he'd been using one his whole life. And I couldn't steal it away from my 62-year old father while waiting for a flight. And I do remember both of them smiling. This thing is absolutely amazing.
