klaudioz··on S.A.R.C.A.S.M: Slightly Annoying Rubik's Cube Automatic Solving Machine
Cool!!, I've created this one 16 years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkWLQZgi9uE

I can see very similar movements this robot is doing compared to my old robot. I really like the screen outputs of it.

Any link to the 15k machine ?. Maybe it is cheaper now.

It looks like it's secret. I couldn't find in GitHub anything related with reversed engineered bluetooth cubes.
klaudioz··on Career advice nobody gave me: Never ignore a recruiter
I have a dirty trick to ignore "bots" recruiters in Linkedin:

I just put a greek character on my name or add an emoticon, so I got a lot of messages starting with:

"Dear name ..

So, it's safe to ignore the message. Even when probably I'm not interested I used to reply with a template message, but I won't waste 30 seconds with a bot.

klaudioz··on Building Permanent and Censorship-Resistant Blog with Ethereum ENS and IPFS
I did something similar using https://fleek.co/ using a nuxtjs template I edited in my GitHub repository: https://github.com/klaudioz/klaudioz.eth

It was very easy to set. No code. My site is: https://klaudioz.eth.link/

Also i bought the eth domain when the gas was a very low price.

yeah, that bad US places are not offering jobs for software engineers usually.

klaudioz··on Launch HN: Ontop (YC W21) – Easily hire and pay remote workers in LATAM
That's just an average. I'm doing 130K now. I'm from Chile and the cost of life difference between Santiago and Utah is practically zero, earning 6x. Obviously is more difficult to do it having a family with kids, that the visas can cover the family as well. Giving a English education to your kids can be the best gift you can do them.
klaudioz··on Launch HN: Ontop (YC W21) – Easily hire and pay remote workers in LATAM
LATAM engineers should try to immigrate to the US instead to working remote. The same owner of Ontop is saying that they are getting just 33% of the salary they'd get in the US. Venausa (https://www.venausa.net) is giving a coaching in Spanish to get a job in the US in less than one year averaging 90.000 USD annually for LATAM engineers.
klaudioz··on I'm Peter Roberts, immigration attorney who does work for YC and startups. AMA
Hello Peter, thanks for doing this.

I'd like to know your opinion about acquiring an EB-1 visa being an IT worker. How difficult do you think it is ?.

I'd like to try to do what Julian Shapiro did: https://www.tefter.io/bookmarks/48931/readable.

Also, I'm in H1B-1. Could it be dangerous for me to try this?

klaudioz··on Amazon Plans $800M Data Center in Argentina
Yes, they'd go to Chile.
klaudioz··on I woke up unable to speak English
Yes, I did it. Actually, I have a sleep mask in my job. It's useful to reduce a headache when everything is normal again. I discovered it a few years ago after 20 years having this migraine but the read/speak thing started about 8 years ago (at least).
klaudioz··on I woke up unable to speak English
I've some weird type of a migraine which sometimes I'm not able to read or speak properly in English or Spanish (Always one of these combinations, fortunately). It's like I forgot how the words are "divided by syllables" and I'm not able to read or speak properly. Fortunately, it's for a few minutes and I got a migraine just one or two times a year. I went to the doctor and he said it's not dangerous and there is nothing to do. Some people have migraines every week, even in the worst cases with vision loss so my problem is nothing compared to that.
klaudioz··on Designing a Business Card in LaTeX
I have a problem trying to generate the document with: xelatex src/front.tex

It is generated but without icons. If I see the file front.log I think it's trying to write the icons using Fira Sans:

Missing character: There is no  in font Fira Sans/OT:script=latn;language=DFLT;mapping=tex-text;!
(The line shows 9 times and there are 9 icons too)

I tried everything but I have never used before Latex, so it's really complicated. Any comment will be very welcome.

Thanks.
