Wirewheel provides data privacy SaaS platform to clients to stay in compliance with CCPA, GDPR and the evolving privacy laws.
I'm looking for an Mid-level or senior engineer that has experience integrating with systems like salesforce, M365, Google drive, and can be creative on integrating with the dozens of other systems our clients as for to automate their data privacy workflows. Tech stack is nodeJS/aws lambda/serverless
you can email me at kevin@wirewheel.io with your resume directly
On the tech side we user serverless to deploy lambda functions to AWS, all microservices are in node, some are typescript, others ES6 - looking to standardise this. We lean pretty heavily on AWS from a devops perspective. Since we're a team of 8 so far, there are lots of opportunities to work with ML/BI data analysis (Periscope), product enhancements, pretty much we're a very open company to all ideas.
Email me at kevin@joinreel.com if interested, remember this is on-site in santa monica, california only full time.
We're looking for a front-end lead (angular 2, typescript), backend developers (node) and a scrum master. Check out the link above to view all our openings, email me and kevin.tavera@myjar.com if you are interested. Work location is Tallinn, Estonia
We're looking for talented node devs, angular 2 devs/lead, general devops (ansible, AWS, etc... several positions here)
We're a financial company looking to augment our IT staff as we, in tandem, innovate our backend and frontend tech stacks using angular2 and a microservices architecture on AWS (elastic beanstalk, lambda, rabbitmq).
We can offer relocation and visas for qualified candidates. The office is in Tallinn, Estonia. Fun work atmosphere, stocked fridge, massage therapist and many other little perks.
shoot me a message (details in profile) if you're interested.

3 UI Engineers (heavy angular, javascript, highcharts, sass, gulp, bootstrap, etc), decent design skills, demonstrable examples of UI/UX we can see.
3 ASP.net Engineers (Web API 2, C#, azure workers, queuing), knowledge of Entity Framework 6 code first or other ORM's is key, service/repository patterns, all the other basic stuff you'd expect. We're 100% utilizing Azure services in every way that makes sense for us. the more we use them the more impressed we are with the offering.
We're only 4 months into development of this greenfield dev project so as a member of our engineering team you'd have the ability to drive technical direction across the API or UI, whichever you prefer. Junior or senior level, doesn't matter, we just want smart people that want to be a long-term team member.
Also looking for two test engineers, one on the JS side (protractor/karma) and one on the .net (nUnit) to help us build out solid e2e test test automation for our code-base and expand on our unit test coverage.
Remember these are full-time positions, no contractors looking for a couple weeks of work until their next gig comes around. Your location is irrelevant, just as long as you get your work done. Good salary, bonuses, random perks.
Fun small engineering team with a stable company. We all work remote and communicate primarily on slack/screenhero (when screenhero isn't flaking out). We do occasional company sponsored meetups, just got back from a conference in vegas last week. lot of fun.
Email me at ktavera@topofmind.com (i'm in charge of the engineering team) if you want to talk about joining the team!
We're looking to ramp up our team of .net and javascript engineers for building out the next version of our CRM platform. Work on exciting latest and greatest technologies with a team of 10 other awesome developers!

Municipal bonds are not really derivatives, there is no underlying asset that backs it except for the repayment history from the borrowing entity. If I buy a muni bond slated for an affluent county in New Hampshire to build a new high school then my risk is considerably lower than buying a security where you are dependent on a group of individuals with unknown repayment ability actually completing the terms of their loan (MBS). They are completely different animals
As far as municipal defaults, sure it happens. But very infrequently. Even with piling up liabilities municipal entities generally are able to pay on their bonds even if it means issuing more bonds because if they default, all their liquidity dries up.
