Wikipedia simps are unfortunately everywhere, which complicates any efforts to resolve the problem since they like to pretend that there's nothing wrong there. Some even managed to abuse the flag feature at HN to suppress Wikipedia-critical posts while trying to raise doubts about my character on the sole basis that I am using this account to post exclusively anti-Wikipedia content, which is for a good reason because those people and admins at Wikipedia tend to use severe harassment tactics against critics.
This will give you a great pause, which involves serious harassment scandals against women on Wikipedia committed by users and admins.

As a response to the following comment in quotes:
"Users have been flagging and downvoting your posts because you've been breaking the site guidelines. As you've been posting repetitively to the point that you've crossed over into abusing the site, I've banned the account. If you don't want to be banned, you're welcome to email hn@ycombinator.com and give us reason to believe that you won't do this again and will follow the rules in the future. They're here: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html."
I was originally responding to a user who had seemingly crossed over into personal attacks by implying me as a troll simply because I have been using this account exclusively to post anti-Wikipedia content due to safety reasons. If one people can simply filibuster any given contents by abusing the flag feature over the wishes of the many then I'm afraid that it is the paragon of virtue of minoritarianism. I suggest you to check the systems whether the so-called "vote brigading" has taken place as well.

Perhaps this is the silent part that not many people realize, but the one thing is that Jimbo Wales is a believer Ayn Rand's ideas and Wikipedia is founded with heavy inspiration of such an idea. I haven't really read Atlas Shrugged itself but apparently it promotes an idea of epicurean ego-centrism to the detriment of altruism.
This could buttress the argument that Wikipedia's model is flawed from the start because it's DNA is filled with this wrong stuff. The ideology promotes self-centered enjoyment and turn what should be a collegial sanctum with long-term endurance in mind, into a participatory based MMORPG.
> Encycla isn't quite a wiki, instead, it's sort of a 'next generation' wiki. Unlike a traditional wiki site, where everyone edits a single page, on Encycla, each user maintains their own personal copy of a page, and changes are suggested (pulled) between pages.
They could, but the author is pessimistic that nothing will change at all because of inertia resisting such change. He used Fram as example and the sole McDonald's in a food desert as an analogy.
It's founded by those behind LocalWiki.

bool are_equal = memcmp(&a, &b, sizeof(some_struct_t));
Isn't this a bug? Structs are allowed to have padding bytes between bytes occupied by fields, which will have unpredictable ("garbage") values. So a pair of structs with all fields pairwise same can have different padding bytes, so checking equality with this method will give a false negative.Which industries?
Big claim, little justification
