Yep, I feel fortunate that programmers that made it well before AI are going to be very sort after in a world where software development is going to explode and be in very high demand.
Today a co-worker told me he thought this would mean programmers would get more money because we have been making so much, so quickly, with much fewer bug reports, it's saving the company lots of money on man hours.
If the AI is asking you questions and requiring you to make decision after decision, then perhaps it's a spec issue. I know I've written a good spec if the AI does not ask any questions and doesn't get anything wrong after implementing the user story.
I was forwarding something to my wife and I see this other person suggested in the recipient list. The weird way the suggestion UI is designed makes it look like they are already added, but I assumed I would have to select the person in the second forward box to add them. Anyway, I won't migrate for now though because I hardly use email anymore.
Watch out guys, Chinese manufacturer CHUWI was found to be involved in a mislabeling scandal that involved its CoreBook X and CoreBook Plus laptops. The company advertised these laptops as having the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U CPU, but in reality, they used the older Ryzen 5 5500U CPU.
My company is currently using PHP templates, but is thinking of replacing them with react components because the new front-end devs like them. Is this a bad idea?
This is going to make it more difficult for non-open source projects to get a foothold in the future because people are not going to trust a promise any more. Like, I have this thing called a smart phone. Is it open source? No? Oh well.
I find these stories fascinating. Since it mentioned the orange originally came from China, I wonder if there are varieties that are resistant while still tasting good.
This was happening to a colleague's monitor. As it happened frequently when either of us got up, I suspected it was the fabric of the chair, which was probably some kind of acrylic. I made slips for the ass part of the chair from 100% cotton, and to my amazement it fixed the problem.
Has nobody tried to create an alternative English spelling a bit like the Chinese have done with Pinyin. This would be more for the benefit of learners rather than trying to change Greek identity.
This is great news for my wife and my parents, but it would really be nice to have the choice when it comes to my phone's OS. Just like I had with Linux. I boggles my mind how the components in a phone are somehow different to the components in a PC in that they are unaccessible to people who write drivers for them.
I'm English and have been living in Finland for decades. This is a very Finnish thing in the workplace and I love it. Now and again we will get some new "foreign guy" and it reminds me that some cultures (not all) are following these over polite, social formatting rules. It's a bit annoying, but they eventually assimilate :P
