Even if you did pick the right developers, you will have to spend time to teach them about design. Design is completely off when it's done offsite.
If there are multiple parties involved in referring the sale, I will be charged not one but a multiple of the Stripe fees whenever money is disbursed to appropriate parties involved in one single sale.
Furthermore, because I have to process returns I will not be able to send the payment directly to the seller immediately. The payment would be retained in my account after a period of time before I could transfer it to the sellers.
I didn't find a way of writing on a blank page like you did, the situation may have changed. Well if you did, you're definitely more knowledgeable than me about Wikipedia, but please don't tell me what I did and did not do.
I am OK if Wikipedia deletes my article if it's their policy. My issue is that they did not treat my company the same as the the rest of the world due to own ignorance.
My previous company was a chip and Wi-Fi module startup (ZeroG Wireless). I had requested our company name to be created around 2009. At that point, we had been around for 4 years and we had taken $30m in funding. However, we were never granted a section on Wikipedia.
On the other hand, plenty of internet companies who were around than launch much shorter than that and their names are currently on Wikipedia, for example, Pownce. I am sure that many others are granted a Wikipedia entry for being around less, accomplishing less than what we did. The only difference is that these were Internet startups and ZeroG was not.
Some people simply need to wake up and stop living in their own bubble. Let's hope that one day they can realize that others do care about things that the community doesn't care.
I think someone like you would help guys become more self-aware on what their actions have on their partners, and help them be more considerate. This is not about becoming someone you're not, but being more open and considerate about what their girlfriends when in relationship. Trust me, women don't need that much time, but how you can communicate that to us matters more.
one thing though - since you guys are after hobbyists and small design firms and it seems like it's a fairly small market with very little money to be made.
but it's very likely that you guys will be acquired by one of the larger CAD tool companies.
hardware design is not like software design because plenty of companies are already sell hardware building blocks that can be tweaked with software to develop an application. Very rarely you have to redesign hardware from scratch. These companies provide their customers (which include hobbyists/small design firms) with schematics. Their customers may tweak the schematics rather than designing everything from scratch, so collaboration may not be the highest pain point here.
I actually have used both tortoiseSVN and git, and I'm actually in love with git!
you should give it a try.
Look at the lists closely. Not everyone who went to your school is included in those lists
What you are seeing is what they want to show you. The AI happening in the backend is really complex. But of course, you don't have to believe everything I say. You should check out the background of those 3 co-founders. They are all AI guys, and they are not likely to want to solve simple problems.
I bet the reason why google bought them is to apply their work to google+ and to compete with Facebook, which is where FB is lacking.
Most hardware companies don't know software and most software companies don't understand hardware. I am interested in finding out whether we could develop something together out of this...
Why do ideas have to be private? if you have an idea, you can be sure that you are probably not the only one who came up with them, so feel free to discuss openly.
there's nothing worse than being paranoid about keeping your ideas to yourself.
I do feel bad for Netflix and i hope they recover. it was just a one-time bad business decision behind a great brand name. what a costly learning lesson for the ceo!
Groupon: user is only sustainable based on type of deals. business model easily replaceable by any upcoming player.
plus there's so many things going inside the company right now...Groupon's own sales team is suing the company? come on, what does that speak to the company itself? the whole company is made up of salespeople!!
