lovamova··on Apple Plans to Use Its Own Chips in Macs from 2020, Replacing Intel
I think the first step is to produce a GPU that integrates well with Intel CPUs. The next Metal version will need to have even deeper hardware integration while external GPUs support will be a solution for those who need AMD or NVIDIA solutions.
lovamova··on Samsung’s Galaxy S9 looks set to retain the headphone jack
I got the XZ1 Compact. I love it. It's faster and smaller than iPhone X and doesn't overheat. USB-C with QuickCharge 3.0 takes 1h to get to 85% charge then battery last 2 days and 8h of screen usage.

It has backlight bleeding around the ambient light sensor. I can't replace it, but I can live with it.

GMSArena reported Sony is working on a Compact with 5-inch screen and 18:9 aspect ratio. This will be the perfect phone to own.

lovamova··on HTML6 proposal for single-page apps without JavaScript
Why not DOM streaming or lazy DOM? We don’t need HTML6.
lovamova··on Yahoo wants to let you forget your Yahoo password
If they add a first factor (4 digits PIN code) and this as a second factor, then I think we have a winner. The PIN code will protect you from insecure networks, losing your phone, theft and it's easy to remember.

The PIN code is a weak link, but doesn’t do much without your phone. Your phone is a weak link, but you won’t get the SMS without the PIN code. Chained together they’re almost stupid and fail proof.

lovamova··on Ask HN: What's are your best Apple Watch app ideas?
Why would anybody tell the best app ideas on HN?

lovamova··on 0^0
It is. We invented the arabic numerals because they were easy to draw and we could written any numbers with them. Just like we invented higher lever computer languages instead of using assembly.

See what Fibonacci used to say in his first book Liber Abaci about using arabic numerals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liber_Abaci

lovamova··on Centurion - A SASS & CSS3 Responsive Web Framework That Scales With Your Device
Another shity CSS framework that doesn't do anything better than adding code overhead to your project. Go ahead people use Bootstrap everywhere then wonder why your product fails in the market. It's better to write some clean, yet minimal CSS than use any kind of framework for CSS. Do you need responsive designs? Just use @media at the end of your CSS file to restyle some of the elements for different screen widths or just hide them. That's all you have to do!
lovamova··on Everything is my fault
This attitude is as bad as “nobody's fault”. It portraits the same thing, but differently.
