Everything lower than 4/5 is really bad

And in German the word is "Helm" as well
madduci··on Motorola Signature 27 with GrapheneOS support
This was expected, nobody wants to support cheap phones, they aren't lucrative as the flagship ones
madduci··on OpenSSL 4.1.0
Do you know of TLS 1.3 has been added?
madduci··on OpenSSL 4.1.0
Microsoft pulled the plug earlier

For a second, I was thinking about a CLI for Sonatype Nexus..wild naming
madduci··on Flatpak – An Insecurity Nightmare (2023)
Alternative to Flatpak and to the counterless adhoc Repositories, what's the most reliable source for getting apps installed under Debian?
madduci··on Rabbits were a medieval royal luxury in England until the Black Death

madduci··on Llama.cpp on a jailbroken PS5: run any GGUF model natively on the console
These prices are from last year. A new N150 without RAM costs €350. and performance-wise, a N150 is far behind to a PS5, which costs €799.
madduci··on LFM2.5-24B-A2B: Built for fast on-device agents
Same. Asked for some questions and it put out some old knowledge as well.

fast is fast (18tk/s on a Intel Core 7 155H laptop), but quality is something else

madduci··on Running Windows desktop tests from Linux with disposable VMs
Same here, we used Proxmox as host to spin up ready images built with Packer and starting them with Vagrant to provision the app on the system under test, the whole triggered by the CI build
madduci··on New CRAM method offers giant boost to compressed memory reads
It was sarcastic
madduci··on New CRAM method offers giant boost to compressed memory reads
Finally we can run frontier models locally
madduci··on AnyPS5: Port PS5 binaries to PC without emulation (87% system libraries mapped)
Or introduce some kind of validation in code, to block it from running from PC?
madduci··on From the creator of Redis; run LLM locally with ds4
It worked, the change I had to do was also minimal for the compilation of the .cu unit. You can compile it for the whole iGPU family, not only a specific model.

I've submitted it as PR, as well as an initial implementation for an OpenAI like API

madduci··on From the creator of Redis; run LLM locally with ds4
Indeed! I let GLM5.3 write a patch as well, I will test it and submit to you as PR if it works. I've learned in the process that the 255H ships with DeepLink, which helps balancing the work between CPU and GPU (sounds like an OpenCL derivative?).
madduci··on From the creator of Redis; run LLM locally with ds4
Can you share it? I have the same hardware, would be interested in trying it
madduci··on OpenDLSS: A Vulkan Reimplementation of Nvidia's DLSS 5 Neural Rendering Network

madduci··on GPT-6.1 Sol replaces GPT-6 Sol after just 7 days, with near-Astra intelligence
We should be thankful that Chinese Models are very cheap
madduci··on Nissan's third generation e-POWER powertrain
The EV range is just 3km for me. Very much a joke
madduci··on Nissan's third generation e-POWER powertrain
Exactly, as owner of one of the latest versions of Nissan cars with e-Power, I just can say that it is extremely inefficient, especially during winter, plus it isn't recognised at all as hybrid vehicle in Germany (it misses the "E" at the end of the car plate).

For comparison, the full classic gasoline engine with manual gearbox consumes less gasoline than the e-Power one. This is just some pure greenwashing, that isn't even explained at car dealerships and people can't say anything about it, when you ask for information.

Works like (?) an EV, it isn't an EV.

madduci··on Italian parliament votes for return to nuclear energy
At least it is greener and cheaper. Especially Solar cells have become incredibly cheap now. Combined with battery storage, it's far safer and cheaper than nuclear.

And in a territory affected from seismic activities, I would avoid nuclear at all

madduci··on GPT-6 Sol and Luna
Because Qwen4 has been announced!
madduci··on There's a high chance of devices being sold with GrapheneOS preinstalled in 2027
I wish they will bring a €200 device with GrapheneOS out
madduci··on Frontier AI on Your Own Hardware

madduci··on Java 27
Privately yes, but at work getting the latest edge version isn't always the case
madduci··on Java 27
Seriously, how many are using always the latest releases of Java instead the LTS ones? With LTS ones you have ~2/3 years between the versions.
