Does stripe ever plan to release more advanced/streamlined analytics?
massarog··on Our SaaS app helped a customer make $18k
Thanks for spotting this. It is done in-house, just had an error in our code. Should be fixed now.

"We also allow for specific rewarding around the Like button, provided the incentive is open to all new and existing users who Like your Page."

We are compliant with this.

Hey there, co-founder of ViralSweep here.

Liking a Facebook page was not a requirement to enter the giveaway. If you look at the section that shows the giveaway design, the only requirement was to enter your email address. The page they see after they enter contains the social options which are optional to complete.

massarog··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
Building a promotion isn't easy. ViralSweep helps businesses quickly and easily launch a giveaway to grow their audience: http://www.viralsweep.com
massarog··on Bitcoin $645? Yeah, That’s Totally Reasonable
Looks like half the sites are down/have issues. Can't even login to my coinbase account without getting errors.
massarog··on Poll: Which hosting provider do you use?
wiredtree.com - have used them for over 6 years, best customer service I've ever received hands down.
massarog··on The first physical Facebook fan counter for local businesses
Instead of saying on the page 'pre-orders are coming tomorrow' you should have an email collection form there. You're likely getting a large amount of traffic and could be losing out on a lot of potential pre-orders because people will forget to go back to your page tomorrow. Just toss in an email collection form saying you'll notify people when pre-ordering opens. Otherwise, neat product.
massarog··on Google Consumer Surveys: Measure site satisfaction in real time
Yes, http://qualaroo.com who I believe was formerly Kissinsights?
massarog··on Ask HN: Conducting a survey on Facebook Login, can you take it?

massarog··on How Google Authorship decreased our traffic by 90%
My question is, why did you add authorship sitewide? Authorship should be established only on jitbit.com/news/ where your blog is, NOT on your entire website. For example, if I search jitbit in google, your authorship photo is appearing for your domain, not good.
massarog··on Poll: is your startup profitable?
Yes we are profitable and we've always bootstrapped everything we do: http://viralsweep.com
massarog··on Ask HN: Freelancer? Seeking freelancer? (May 2013)
SEEKING FREELANCER - Remote

We're looking for an experienced developer with a php/mysql/css/html/jquery/javascript skillset. Contract work, could turn into full-time.

massarog··on Show HN: Capture leads like never before
You certainly can give a trial, but say you wanted to give away one of your larger packages (i.e 1 year or 6 months of free service) then you could use a giveaway.
massarog··on Show HN: Capture leads like never before
Sweepstakes/contest marketing does actually create tons of leads, depending on how well you target it. For example, a company giving away their service (i.e. 6 months free) would be able to capture hundreds of people interested in that service, then have the opportunity to re-market to those that were not chosen as the winner.
massarog··on Show HN: Capture leads like never before
Hey, co-founder here. This is deliberate because many companies who run giveaways online are consumer brands and need a very visual medium, so we show the title by default, and then slide it out of the way to let the visuals do the talking.
massarog··on Show HN: Webflow - Design responsive websites visually
Super awesome and very well done, just played with this for a couple minutes..love how you can choose the different platforms on the left and side and when you click on an element you can edit everything on the right hand side. How do you plan on monetizing this?
massarog··on Show HN: Create a Marketing Site for your Startup in Minutes
Well done, makes it simple and easy to make product landing pages.
massarog··on Show HN: We built a tool to create and run viral giveaways
I'll look deeper into this, but we are not an app on Facebook, and users would be incentivized with an additional entry by simply 'liking' a page via the 'like' button. Many other companies do this so I don't believe its against their policies, but again, I'll look deeper into it.
massarog··on Show HN: We built a tool to create and run viral giveaways
Thanks! Email entry is the only way to enter (for businesses, collecting leads is most important). Sharing options are on the 2nd page of the giveaway, and we will soon have these incentivized so you can provide additional entries for each.
massarog··on Show HN: We built a tool to create and run viral giveaways
We took that into consideration and instead of offering a 'once off' plan, we decided to just offer 14 days free.
massarog··on Show HN: We built a tool to create and run viral giveaways
Co-Founder here. Here is one of our clients active campaigns: http://www.hmdhome.com/kitchen-designer

We have sharing built in (on the 2nd page) but it is not incentivized, yet. We're almost done building in the incentives for it (offering extra entries).

massarog··on A new kind of checking account. No overdraft fees. No worries.
Is this any different than bluebird by Amex/Walmart?
massarog··on No one-click unsubscribe? It's spam.
Companies that make me sign in to unsubscribe, stop doing this.
massarog··on Don't read TechCrunch
Agreed. 95% of the stories on TC are about fundraising.
massarog··on How Flightfox doubled their remarketing email conversions
What plugin is that for your blog on the left hand side with the share icons?
massarog··on Could Google Glass be banned in the casinos?
I've played roulette for the past 2 years at several casinos in the US and you can still place bets after the ball is released. Once the wheel starts to slow down and before the ball drops onto the wheel, the dealer will signal no more bets.

This is essentially the MVP. We'll have a bunch more templates in the future :).
