It however brings disadvantages with it. Specifically if now instead of a forum you have to join five trillion discord servers just to get help with your one issue on "this niche product i use".

Well that is honestly a good thing in my book as long as everyone knows when a chat is public.

Maybe it should be put in Forum Mode only or something. Because just finding random chats is likely not going to be helpful at all.

Interesting yet somehow dystopian. But more of a practical question how much do the tokens cost for you?

Thanks for the feedback on this. That actualy helps alot.

And while I completely agree that a PhD "Student" is a working job that should be compensated. We both know that certain doors are much easier opened when you already have a PhD. I have the financial means to help me accomplish this without taking realy much of a financial toll on it. Hence why it even remains an option.

Satellites, everything space related. I assume in nuclear tech, military and aviation it is rather strict aswell.

Its kinda like the arms race in the cold war. There came out some truly marvelous technologies but the actualy goals were frankly terrifying.

there is also quite enough fields in which AI generated code is just not even allowed to touch the codebase to begin with.

They probably have very good financial cushions. One year of losses is nothing to a company like that.

Hi there for reference you said self funded PhDs are common in Japan. Would you hazard a guess what it would cost to fund your own PhD. I have lived in Japan before during a half year of language school, and still want to at one point in the not so far future do my PhD. And Japan would be one of the potential places on the list.

In Tokyo however you have literally one of the best Public Transit systems in the world. So why buy car?

Oh sorry that is what I meant i would like this to be a EU wide ecosystem working together.

Julia does that too.

This realy would be a great way to foster collaboration within the EU. To create an own independant Ecosystem outside of the microsoft world.

when it comes to Laptop Battery life afaik there isn't even a competition.

Its an example thats well repeatable more analogue to lets say you are hiking and see a deer at a distance and want to take a picture.

One of the things which for me is always going to be important is: "The best camera is the one you always have with you"

In recent times I have travelled some insanely hot places. And every extra thing that you carry with you feels like such a burden. But the phone you always have with you.

Oh you know what as someone who has used android from the start ever since i had a smartphone. You are 100% correct the only halfway decent calendar app is Google Calendar and even that is mostly meh.

Ok so the Mudra Link (aka the Meta Neural Band) is like in a way that. You can actualy get it and connect it without needing Meta Glasses.

Well to be fair they are already willingly ingesting harmful materials.

Some people just do not like wearing a wristwatch. I would sleep with a ring i would not sleep with a wristwatch

except for NVIDIA

I was going to say the Commonwealth Saga is pretty optimistic until i realised thats from 2 decades ago already. Time sure flies.

can confirm my Huawei Freebud 4 have swipe volume controls, anc and do not have silicone tip. Which is one of the reasons I got them after my Gen 1 Airpods started to annoy me on Android.

Looking at you Christopher Nolan

You plebs use Gold I only use Diamond Coated Connectors. For CRYSTAL Clear Sound and fidelity.

As someone with probably already a bit of hearing damage and who is generally not an Audiophile. I remember when i switched from Wired Headphones to Wireless and man I cannot hear the difference. Which I assume many people don't either. For me it is no difference in hearing pleasure and much more comfort.

> The only reason OpenAI and Anthropic are making a loss is due to training new models to keep up with competition - not because the industry is flawed in terms of business model.

So in other words they are not profitable? Like you cant say they are profitable and then in the next sentence say they make a loss. That is not how profit works.

I mean yeah

100% oversight commitees should be regularly conveening over their actions. And these Oversight Comitees should not be Politicians but random people.

I belive no Mans Sky is a great game but I could realy never get through to the newer stuff because the base resource gathering gathering does not grip me. The lasering of resources is just not satisfying to me. I love resource gathering but it needs to be satisfying like mining ores in minecraft (or Hytyale).

Additionaly I do not like flying Fighters I enjoy larger Ships. Put it as me enjoying space combat like Star Trek more than Star Wars.

If a Star Trek game similar to NMS came out, that would be my JAM imagine flying a smaller explorer vessel beaming down on procedural worlds and interacting with flora and fauna there. That would be up my jam.

But I still have to stress what Hello Games did is probably the best Redemption Story in Gaming. And they deserve all the good for it. Also please finall get me light no fire.
