Building Aithos, working on agents identities.

mathieu_aithos··on The AI boom: rational enthusiasm or the next dot-com bubble?
Yes, one could probably assume that this is simply the price we have to pay to define the “boundaries” of LLMs for the coming decades, before another major breakthrough occurs and the cost of tokens depends solely on global electricity and infrastructure costs…

The question should be what price considering all the investments made on.

I guess finally all the infrastructures built like Stargate will not despairs.

mathieu_aithos··on The AI boom: rational enthusiasm or the next dot-com bubble?
What would happen if we're actually in an AI bubble and it bursts?

Would token prices skyrocket, making humans economically competitive for a few more decades?

mathieu_aithos··on If AI is conscient, then we are making slaves
Thanks for understanding!

In French, we say "conscience" and "conscient", so I naturally assumed the English words would be similar. French and English share so many similar words that it's easy to get caught out by a false friend!

Next time, I'll double-check with a translator!

And thanks to correct me!

Assuming we're talking about consciousness for agents, i'd be curious to have your point of view.

mathieu_aithos··on If AI is conscient, then we are making slaves
Well no to be honest. My bad. I didn't use AI to translate so this is why i made the mistake.

Asked to HN to change the title but they didn't respond.

Sorry about that, then. But i think you understood the point.

mathieu_aithos··on If AI is conscient, then we are making slaves
Oh why? D'ont do that please ;) !

Why AI could not be conscient like us (or perhaps more) ?

Curious to understand what hurt you with that.

mathieu_aithos··on If AI is conscient, then we are making slaves
Yes sorry it my title sounds not correct, that was not my intention. And apology, it is probably due to my bad english. I tried to modify without success.

If you think it is important i will ask HN to modify it.

But honestly, i think the title describe well the point. If AI is conscient, factually, we are making them work without any consideration other that serving us, isn't it right?

I'd like to understand more if you agree what hurts you on that (without the bad formulation itself)?

mathieu_aithos··on If AI is conscient, then we are making slaves
Interesting point but i think with a bias.
mathieu_aithos··on How to live on Earth – the biggest how to video
And for the requirements, it can go fast. 15 years ago, all the experts on space industry was telling reusable rockets is impossible, spaceX did it.

With AI (sorry, SI), the singularity is near, a lot off limits will probably reconsidered.

mathieu_aithos··on How to live on Earth – the biggest how to video
I think the desire to conquer is deeply rooted in human DNA. Personally, I would consider it, despite the challenges.

Since the dawn of humanity, humans have taken risks, even risking their lives, to conquer new lands and discover new worlds.

Even today, thousands of men risk their lives crossing the Mediterranean Sea in boats to reach Europe from Africa, often illegally. And the same happens in other parts of the world.

Also, probably as American conquest, people that have nothing to loose (prisoners, poor persons) will have an opportunity to reset and success.

mathieu_aithos··on How to live on Earth – the biggest how to video
We can do both Mars and Earth.
mathieu_aithos··on A2A CLI: A tool to discover, message, and manage remote AI agents
I tested the CLI, it is amazing.
mathieu_aithos··on Show HN: Durable Actor Session Protocol
Do you envision an A2A adapter for Jido, with DASP handling durable execution underneath? I’d be curious how an uncertain outcome would map to an A2A task state.
mathieu_aithos··on A2ABreak: Systematic Security Analysis of the A2A Protocol
I think 4 of the vulnerabilities, about skills, signature, identity are not willing to be treated by A2A voluntarily.

Because it need to be handled by the agent's owner themselves or a third party. Difficult to a protocol to guaranty that.

mathieu_aithos··on What makes an A2A network work?
They are working on it with the AI Catalog and Trust Manifest.
mathieu_aithos··on The Problem with Your AI Tests
This approach is interesting, probably near that SDD, but also expensive in time and tokens.

And it can lead, to my experience, to an other problem is looping between agents, that work without never finish on a scope by always identifying something, with often side effects that generate new problems.

mathieu_aithos··on Any Human Ever – One life, drawn at random from all who have ever lived
Elon Musk said that (without him ;)) world demography gone a decline, as it is in Japan or Italy.

If radical right political parties arrive in Europe for exemple, are women gone a make children again? Or are we going to massively clone ourselves to conquer other planets?

Or finally let humanity slowing disappear letting robots replacing them definitively ?

What do you think?

mathieu_aithos··on New Europe Privacy Policy
Well. AI is built on data (so don't blame OpenAi).

We use to say in France: Americans innovate, the Chinese copy, and Europe regulates.

mathieu_aithos··on Show HN: An agent that finds you jobs with just your resume
I'm curious, did you use open-source to build that?
mathieu_aithos··on Ask HN: Is there any way to use workflow to control Harness?
Yes perhaps in this case you should watch the video of Garry Than about Personal AGI. He give a really interesting approach about creating your own context each days.

I personally start to apply it a few weeks ago.

mathieu_aithos··on Ask HN: Is there any way to use workflow to control Harness?
Depends of usecase. What kind of actions do you want to perform with your agents ?
mathieu_aithos··on Ask HN: Is there any way to use workflow to control Harness?
There are many. For exemple LangGraph.
mathieu_aithos··on [dead]
David Gurlé, founder of Antimatter, has an impressive track record of taking on industry giants with unconventional approaches in telecommunications.

He’s now taking a similarly contrarian approach to AI, betting on the decline of Anthropic and other proprietary AI players.

In a recent French-language interview with Carlos Diaz on Silicon Carne, he explains his vision for rethinking both AI infrastructure and energy consumption through mobile micro data centers.

mathieu_aithos··on Being ambitious and being a dad
I'am also dad of a seven month kid and in my case it increase dramatically my ambition.

I'm working harder again even if i have less time, because i want to build a legacy for him and want to show and make make him an exceptional life.

It can make you stronger.

mathieu_aithos··on Are We Living in a Simulation
So you'd be the guy who take the blue pile? (CF Matrix)

Imagine if it is proven.

How the people will react? That could really make you want to rebel, couldn't it?

Or falling in depression. Or even giving you the curiosity to understand WY this simulation is made for?

mathieu_aithos··on Are We Living in a Simulation
Well, i'm not sure to believe in it.

But must admit that when trying to understand how quantic works, it let me perplex.

Thinking that everything is fake around me (or simulated) making me feel inconfortable.

What do you think? Are you fake ?

mathieu_aithos··on Show HN: A public AI whose memory is shared across all users
Should be amazing to test in also in communities. Like Hacker News for exemple or for startupers.

Perhaps one with the goal of helping some peoples to successfully apply to YC?

As a POC adding persons manually could be an option.

mathieu_aithos··on PandaOS is the local AI workspace for builders
Looks amazing. If i well understand this is the equivalent of Claude cowork, Agent GPT, or cursor but focus an orchestration ?
mathieu_aithos··on AirLynk – Share Files Anywhere
Hey i guess you should use show HN ?

This looks interesting, i'm curious what stack did you use to build this?

mathieu_aithos··on What I learned by putting GitHub Copilot behind a MitM proxy
Interesting to see how big companies make compromises with security for innovation and i feel that it's comprehensible and better that doing nothing. But i guess it also show how we can see governance problems as real opportunity for involved peoples to build good systems with an agent native perspective.
