I totally agree. In 2014, I wrote a blog post on a similar subject too.

My current favorite open source project management software is Redmine.

I think Whatsapp also uses a similar method for sent pictures and videos.

I am very impressed in the detail that the picture in the article is also a screenshot in dark mode when I switch to dark mode. Well done.

I just tried and very liked it. Thank you so much. I am planning to integrate this service to my Hacker News notification app[1]

For those who have Pushover account, can check this out [1] Hacker News notification service via Pushover.

You can check this [1] service that I prepared for myself then made it publicly available. For now it’s only sending popular stories as notification. Planning to add keyword feature.

I thought about that too while reading. His name is Mahmut Yıldız.

If you want to read more about him, you can check out the article below.

Because I was already have Pushover account for mobile notifications, and started using directly without extra payment or application.

Now I checked after your question, I found this[1] good service, but do you have any suggestion about receiving mobile notifications from RSS (for iOS)?

And you can consider my personal project as an alternative.

Hacker News is part of my daily life. I try to follow the top stories every day when I have the opportunity. In order not to miss important stories on my busy days, I prepared a notification service. It was a very simple, ~40-line PHP script that sends me notifications for stories with over 200 points. I have been using this service for 7 months and I no longer worry about missing important stories.

Finally, I made this service available to everyone so that it can be useful to others. I have also obtained the necessary permissions from the HN moderators to share such a service with you. So, I hope you will not miss important stories from this awesome platform with the help of this service.

And this is my "I don't care if this succeeds" project because I am already using and I just shared with everyone.

Also I just received this post via this service and just came here to share this.

As someone who learned about GPS and was impressed by its structure, I used to tell my friends around me, whenever I had the opportunity, how great GPS was.

Now I saw this article and I got goosebumps, well done, thank you very much! It's really fantastic. From today it will be enough for me to just share this article with my friends, or I will tell along with this article.

I am using Maccy[0] for a while and I believe this app should be default feature in the all operating systems.

you can use company domain to redirect current target. for example acme.com/link/file will redirect gdrive for now and in the future you can redirect somewhere else

yes depending on your daylight, approximately, it takes between 13 and 18 hours. I am fasting one month a year, more than 10 years, and I can’t call extreme, it’s more like need

Did you know that fasting for one month a year is obligatory in Islam?

“O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.

Fast a prescribed number of days. But whoever of you is ill or on a journey, then let them fast an equal number of days after Ramaḍân. For those who can only fast with extreme difficulty, compensation can be made by feeding a needy person for every day not fasted. But whoever volunteers to give more, it is better for them. And to fast is better for you, if only you knew.“ - Surah Al-Baqarah 183-184

It's remind me the times when I was playing with Macromedia Flash MX

It’s reminded me to this funny talk https://www.destroyallsoftware.com/talks/wat

I exported my contents and I found my contents in plain text. I think exported contents should be encrypted too.

I was planning to do.

Just click on extension button at any website that you want to use. If it wasn't supported send request for that site, and I will be adding support for it.

Also I'm working on independent solution for supporting all websites. Right now there is a backend that crawls supported sites for title and descriptions.

edit: also sorry for not mentioning that supported sites, I was too excited while sharing this at HN.

But Orange Pi has HDMI and its all $10 http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orange-Pi-One-ubuntu-linux-an...

Why is HDMI adapter worth $15? It's like create a hardware and split expensive parts and sell with low price marketing. It's not $9 computer, It's actually ~$35

why so serious?

Fringe, anyone?

This is awesome! I can't stop drawing, please help!
