I'm looking at this video and can't stop thinking: "Who created this process?" With all advances in technology and know-how we are not able to put such sophisticated process together... And it is present in EVERY living creature and happens millions of times in every body... So how this process came into existance?

So HotSpot may detect "hot spot code" in runtime and aggressively inline it - this is what LLVM can not do, becuase it doesn't run in runtime...

It would be interesting to see the comparison with non-GC implementations of the same algorithms/benchmarks - for example in C...

The best think about e-paper is low-power usage: it needs >>no power<< to hold an image. Power is consumed only when changing the image...

=> And this metadata seems be used to get to the keys/passwords from sibling processes: with memory-access time measurements for known crypto implementations...

Regarding battery: +1 Regarding real time: you can have it also on RaspPi!

But if real CPU computer is cheaper than the microcontroller, you may start comparing it... :-)

Yes! GO NUTS! Scan the web for most advanced tech and dive in... choose what is attracting you most... try to deeply understand all that -> will be much better for your future work, than math/algorithm courses you mention... BUT if these courses are attracting you most, dive in there and understand them very well!
