I have been working in the Java-based web application space for over 24 years as a developer, sales engineer, consultant, architect, security specialist, and entrepreneur.
Having worked for years as an architect at ATG, my primary focus is ATG (now Oracle Commerce). I have experience working on some of the largest eCommerce websites in the world. I also build web applications using JBoss as well as technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Seam, EJB3, Hibernate, and JSF.
Sure but the first real estate agent I met is the one that was most highly recommended by my friends and colleagues, and has stellar online reviews. It wasn't some random person...
I really do want smart home devices! My biggest issue so far has been stability and interoperability issues between each vendor and system. Those things have gotten better, but are still a headache. Apple is in a pretty good position to solve those pain points (at the cost of buying new devices (Apple brand or Apple Certified maybe?). Or maybe I need to dive deeper into HomeAssistant...
Anyone have recommendations for what will kill goat heads that isn't glyphosate? I'd love to use something less awful, but so far the goat heads seem unaffected by anything else I've tried.
I don't see any demo, just asking for my email for a waitlist? No screenshots, no videos, stock photos for your presumably fake "testimonials", no info on the team behind this, etc..
Counter-point, they make it easy to try different therapists until you find one you feel comfortable with and you feel is helpful to you (not an easy task) with no additional costs, all from the comfort of your home. I think I was paying ~$60/45 minute session with a great provider, who was always able to get me in schedule-wise, provided great benefit, and saved me from an hour+ drive each way.
I know several people, myself included, who have found their service very valuable.
No one does. LICSW is the common license for therapists (the SW stands for Social Worker). They aren't psychologists or psychiatrists, but they are therapists.
Allows you to configure a zip code and alert temp, and you'll get an email if the forecast temp falls below that alert temp, so you can know when you need to blanket your horses. Built it to scratch my own need. Makes $0 :)
With BenQ you can ask for a swap, they will put a hold on your credit card, but will ship you a new display, you can send your old one back in the new packaging, pre-paid shipping label, and once they receive it, they release the hold. Costs nothing and you don't have to go without a display.
I'm mostly using small companies where it's the owner and maybe his son or 1-2 employees doing the work. Likewise my BIL has his own company that's just him and his best friend. So yeah those guys are all taking 100% of the rate. Granted they have to pay taxes and insurance, and all that like I do, but they're doing well overall.
Where are you finding small wage plumbers or carpenters? All the trades here (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry (perhaps more on the finish side vs framing though) are extremely expensive, with hourly rates between $80-$150/hour. (source - did a lot of renovations on my house, and my BIL is an electrician).
You'd probably be surprised by the number of folks who have tens of thousands of rounds. When ammo prices started going up, pretty much everyone I know who shoots at all started buying in bulk. Not saying everyone who has a gun is trained or mentally prepared to shoot trespassers for months on end, but I think a lot of people who think farms and ranches will be easy pickings haven't spent enough time with the folks who live out here.
most city natural gas systems are powered by gas powered generators spread around. Multi week outages due to ice storms in the north east have rarely (if ever) caused outages of the gas system.
IMHO it's better in the country. We have a backup generator setup that will run everything for a month or so 24x7 or much longer if we only run it a few hours a day. Well water. Propane heat. Deep freezer in the garage full of food. Fully stocked pantry. Our neighbors all have similar setups and we're all very supportive of one another. Our neighbors have large gardens, flocks of sheep, herds of cattle, chickens, etc....
People living in the country are both more used to being self reliant, AND more willing to to help our neighbors (in part because out here emergencies can easily become life or death).
Most of the multi-tenant SaaS products I've worked with do NOT have per tenant databases. I'm sure some do, but the bulk of the multi-tenant products use one (or several) larger databases.
Do it. CaptureOne is the only thing I've found after Aperture that I like. Still miss Aperture, but CaptureOne is great, and they improve it frequently.
For me, 4k @ 32" native resolution is perfect (not pixel doubled). I drive two BenQ displays from my MBP and absolutely love the setup! I can't stand 4k or 5k at 27" as it's too small with native, but way too big when doubled.
Not the referenced folk, but I have the licenses. They are not extremely difficult to get, but you need to be running a real firearms business, not just for yourself as a hobby or collection. ATF has cracked down on people using the licenses as a cheap way to avoid tax stamps and paperwork.
It was being exploited in the wild at least as early as Dec 1st (based on log analysis I've seen). The rate of attempted exploits went WAY up after the 9th.
I'm not sure the federal tax revenue is the big motivator here. Currently most (all?) cannabis operations are paying MASSIVE federal taxes under rule 280E. Federally legalizing should substantially reduce the effective federal tax rate on the cannabis industry.
Now, you might offset that by having MORE cannabis business revenue nationally, instead of just in the legalized states, but don't think the IRS isn't getting their piece of the pie already....
