Anyways great blog post from linear team a lot to learn from it
Just tried using Pi Agent and looks very promising
We just had amazing releases this past two months
kimi k3, glm5.3 qwen3.8 and now glm5.3
These open models are getting really good
I had a lot of success running it on my Mac with Qwen3.6-35B-A3B model
Agreed and most people tend to go towards ECS is because they don’t have enough resources to manage EKS or Kuberenetes in general
Now Kuberenetes is really powerful in my opinion but sometimes it might be an overkill
You might even get away with EC2s but they bring extra overhead of management such as patches and os upgrades and autoscaling can be trivial
For example i built this https://kubernetes-made-simple.vercel.app/
Now i can add this
Its fast and amazing for generating embedding and lookups
And when that happens it’s better to move the contract to hourly rather having it fixed price
But you are also right about having a strong contract

I'm a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and automation. I spent 2 years at AWS Professional Services, where I led CloudFormation Resources Migration, built CDK constructs in Python and TypeScript, and helped enterprise customers design CI/CD pipelines.
I'm open to DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or backend Python roles. Happy to chat about contract or full-time opportunities.
Lastly I must say with the help of AI i can now finally develop good frontends
Its been a pain point for a lot of the clients I work with helping them understand and optimize their aws costs
They might get a surprise 1000 dollar bill and won’t be able to understand why it happened or what incurred that costs
I haven’t written any single line of code but i have been able to plan and come up with new ideas faster
I’m more of a product manager than a coder due to these new AI coding tools
