I like 1, already have some experience with it, but security is such a big field, I don’t know which direction would be the best.
Do you have any suggestion for 5? I know I am bad with people skills, but I’m kind of an introvert. How can I improve in this?
No I don’t want to be famous :D
I want high paying salary and/or to stand out during an interview. If there are 30 candidates for a position, right now there is nothing I would stand out with.
Last but not least, I want to work on interesting stuff. I’ve had enough of writing REST APIs.
I’m also thinking about starting my own business, and I feel like if I have some specialized knowledge I have better chance to succeed or to find a business opportunity.
With this type of interview you rule out a LOT of people, and only keep in the pool who either works on open source, or do great projects in their free time.
If that’s the intention, do it. But otherwise I don’t think it’s a good idea.
I think a _ WELL PAID_ take home project is much better way to interview people.
(Saying all this from the interviewee perspective)
You still need the client side validation for UX. The regular users needs to know if they messed up someting in the form. Also it's a much better UX if it's done on the client side, without the need to send an async request for validations.
I think you should improve the README and include a showcase of how your framework works.
Any tips on how to find a project idea? What worked for you?
What would make me switch from Notion to Outline?
Btw I was looking into Django recently, they are still using the “older” paradigm you are referring to.
Seems like a good product, if they are open to remote and would hire from Canada, I would be very happy to apply

Hello! I'm a Software Engineer with 11-12 years of experience (3 of that is full remote). Currently working at Amazon. I have experience in large scale distributed systems, designing, implementing, and maintaining them. I have oncall experience. I also worked at small startup sized companies before.* Edit: no idea what are these called, but sometimes they moan and lick the left side, sometimes the right so you can hear it in your corresponding ear.
If I want ideas about positions I don't know that exist, why is it asking what industries/jobs I'm exploring? This makes no sense.
Maintaining a larga Java code base is very easy (I think much easier than e.g. Python). The tooling is awesome, there are countless libraries, last but not least Java is the easiest to hire for.
How do you ensure the paid links are safe to visit, and it won't redirect me to a malicious website?
So do you know any great deals for today?
Whatever that means
