That's such a clever code maccman. Very impressive way to get around Apple's decision to disable WebSockets...

I am already using the gmail widget and its proved to be so useful. I am very pleased that I can now sync it to a mobile platform.

With the growth of social media email notifications (from facebook, twitter, asw, etc...) I wake up every morning to about 40 emails. A method to filter these into groups - event type emails which include fb, twitter and broadcast emails versus personal emails would make my life so much easier and my email a lot less cluttered.

Another way to improve email is to find a way to deal with unread emails- so you need some sort of 'interim' board where you can drop emails you want to deal with later on.

Obviously these are only a couple of ways that email could become a better and more efficient tool...I am certain there is scope for more suggestions.

Maybe the policemen work on a commission basis...infraction brokers?

Interesting analysis. I guess some additonal reasons why Facebook is not IPOing are:

1) Expectation that facebook will benefit from high profits in the future - IPOing would mean sharing these profits with millions of shareholders.

2) IPOing involves significant costs - companies often spend more than 10% of the money they actually raise on actual IPO costs

3) Preference not to disclosure internal company information to the SEC which it would have to do if it IPOs (this would also involve additional legal costs)

Finally a solution to task mgt and email integration that makes sense!! Thank you task force team!! I like the chrome extension - wondering when I'll be able to get it on my desktop (windows user). Oh and btw I love the user interface.
