nl5874··on LaTeX.wasm: LaTeX Engines in Browsers
Here is also one based on the tectonic latex engine: https://github.com/nl5887/tectonic-wasm
nl5874··on Learn from your attackers – SSH HoneyPot
Take a look at http://honeycast.io/#!/0f9465db-3c01-49ba-9d81-16b1fd68627c. We are working on a new version of our honeypot software. The feature you mention will be supported.
nl5874··on Ask HN: Do you have a side project that you would like to sell?
We are open for offers to both transfer.sh (file sharing with curl) and SlackArchive.io (archiving +700 teams, data will be of interest for machine learning and NLP startups.). Both are side projects that grew far too big. Mail me at remco@dutchcoders.io for more info.
nl5874··on Linthub: Static code analysis for GitHub pull requests
Yes, true, but only if it breaks. This enforces common code quality issues, so it will run side-to-side with travis.
nl5874··on Linthub: Static code analysis for GitHub pull requests
Error should be fixed, was an error due to redirect http to https.
nl5874··on Linthub: Static code analysis for GitHub pull requests
Currently no plans for charging. If we'll change these plans, existing repositories will stay free. Send an email to support@linthub.io for the error, and we'll check it immediatly.
nl5874··on Linthub: Static code analysis for GitHub pull requests
It seems comparable, though we are supporting different languages. Plans are to support a lot more languages, and support private repos also. (Actually they are already supported, but linthubot needs to have read only access to the repository). All feedback is welcome.
nl5874··on Linthub: Static code analysis for GitHub pull requests
Thanks! Will check and handle this.
nl5874··on Show HN: Improve your pull request quality with automatic linting
Thanks! We'll work on the frontpage, add some more screenshots and info to the homepage.
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
Yes, this has been done because it was abused. We will make some smarter changes, which will allow removal of the content disposition header.
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
Using tty2gif, I've made it work at my mac. Only need to find some time to upload the changes to the repo.

nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
Right you are! We will implement a page in between depending on the referer. Direct download users won't have any issues, but to prevent abuse the page will be shown if from an other site.
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
Haha, yes, was thinking about the same. Currently I'm just glad I can provide a useful service. There is no business case (yet).
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
Next version I'll add the possibility to add a timespan in number of days or number of downloads before deletion. What about that?
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
This works also with transfer, eg.

  ls -la | curl --upload-file - https://transfer.sh/bla.txt
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
OP here. Right this is the public / private encryption. The sample from on the site itself is symmetric encryption (using pw).
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
OP here. Yes, I have plans to opensource this. I'm just looking for the right awesome design, then it will be opensourced.
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
Op here, good point. Will update the demo ;-)
nl5874··on Command-line file sharing
Op here. The urls are randomly generated combined with the chosen filename, I assume this should be safe enough. Links will expire in 2 weeks. Working on functionality where you can configure the lifetime. Eg, just 1 download or 2 days.
nl5874··on Curl.io – Share files from your terminal or ssh
Oh, and dropping files on the page will just change it into a download link.
nl5874··on Curl.io – Share files from your terminal or ssh
I'm always using transfer.sh. It will return a filename that can be shared. For example "curl --upload-file /tmp/test.txt http://transfer.sh/hello.txt" will return http://transfer.sh/6t9me/hello.txt.
nl5874··on Ask HN: Idea Sunday
With StackTray (opensource) you can manage all your EC2 instances from the OSX statusbar. Currently only Amazon AWS is supported, but planning to extend with PaaS, but also DigitalOceaan, Google Compute Engine and Azure. https://github.com/dutchcoders/stacktray

Created an opensource plugin architecture for currently Chrome, but can be Firefox as well. Consists of repositories and plugins you can enable and disable. These plugins will add extra functionality to an existing website, or change layout for example. https://github.com/dutchcoders/eight-spice-chrome

I've been working on a kind of reversed wetransfer. You'll claim a domain, and others can drop files at your personal url. It have been opensourced on github (https://github.com/dutchcoders/dropit). And running at https://dropit.io/.
